Flamingo Sketches blend folk dance music with modern musical stylings, throwing everything from Stevie Wonder to Taylor Swift into the mix. Ray Moose Jackson is a performance poet whose work is not content to live in poetry readings and literary events. This evening is a very special mashup of the two.

Philadelphia based vocal chamber music ensemble Variant 6 presents RE/FRAME, showcasing virtuosic acapella music spanning from the 1500’s to music that was written in the last five years.

Trance inducing microtonal fiddle-drone from duo Tongue Depressor, avant-garde instrumentalist Full Size and sound artist Patrick Gallagher.

The third album from Big Bend (aka pianist/composer Nathan Phillips) has been described as “reflective, elemental folk-meets-freeform that evokes rich 90s acoustic rock and jazz influenced British post pop songwriting.” Space-chamber-pop at it’s finest.

A night of laughter and tears, featuring some of Philly’s finest performers, artisans, and service providers in an immersive evening surrounding and accepting GRIEF in all of its variations.

Music collective and “serious record label” Astro Nautico celebrates 15 years of sonic community organizing and music industry disruption. Last week was A-MAZING and we’re keeping it going this Friday with another stellar lineup in the glorious Garden.

On the tunes: swing’n’jazz meets folky Americana from Red Hot Ramblers *and* Kenny Raskin *and* Liten Platen *and* Brian Dolphin with Elizabeth LaPrelle! What!

On the pizza: will be firing it up with plenty for all.

And, as always, the bar will be serving up cool libations in exchange for your donations. All bar proceeds go to our MAAS Cultural Fund for supporting developing work by new artists. ❤️❤️❤️

GARDEN BARS ARE GO 💚💚 Yes, the 5th Side gates are open once again for live music, cold drinks and wood-fired pizza open to all.

Kicking off THIS FRIDAY,  hit the patio with some unequivocal summery sounds to help you slide into the season… and every week brings a new musical treat, so definitely make plans to come back for more.

Our friend  returns in May to churn out all the pizza your heart could desire. In June, we’re welcoming new friend and pizza artiste  to the oven - expect slices par excellence.
