: Memorial Hall was originally built as the art gallery for the 1876 Centennial Exposition? The Centennial Exposition was the first major World’s Fair in the United States that celebrated the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Today, this National Landmark continues to captivate guests as one of the few major structures remaining from this monumental event.

What an incredible evening it was celebrating the Please Touch Museum’s Imagination Ball – an annual event that raises funds to support the educational initiatives, programs, and opportunities offered by the Museum, provided at low or no cost to members of the community.

This year’s theme turned the Museum into a living kaleidoscope to celebrate the vibrant communities and cultures of the Philadelphia region.

Congratulations to last night’s Imagination Ball honorees - Christine DiBona Lobley (Executive Director, Fred’s Footsteps), Stanford Thompson (Founder and Executive Director Play On Philly), and The Giant Company.

The building is already incredible on its own - it’s unique and fun, but also very elegant and the carousel was a lovely bonus. Our guests loved the venue and the food, and the Brûlée Catering team was phenomenal. Lynnelle was amazing and so much fun to work with throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. From our first meeting with her, she was super responsive, organized, and made the planning process a breeze. She guided us through everything, and we were really impressed with her attention to detail and how she seemed to have answers ready for all our questions.
