The Burgers & Beers for Valentine’s Day at with was a blast! Roses, elevated beers pairings, and engaging conversation filled the evening. Stay turned for more dinners coming up with the four small businesses (of which three are female owned!!)
Pairing Menu:
Appetizer: French Fry and Veggie Board with roasted eggplant, carrots and Brussel Sprouts, charred pita and a roasted garlic hummus, old bay fries and regular fries with the bite sauce for dipping and glorious, glorious pickles.

Main: Fire Slider & Bob’s Burger smash burgers sliders (traditional or vegetarian).

Move through an hour class with 200 hour certified yoga teachers from Monarch Yoga that help stretch and relax you. The all levels class will be followed by a special Manatawny Still Works Happy Hour with 25% off all cocktails and NA cocktails.

Get to know, Meredeth from Home Brewed Events () is a Philadelphia based events & festival management company, specializing in producing high end quality productions highlighting the craft beverage and artisan food industries. Founded in 2013, HBE has collectively over 15 years of event management and adult education experience.
Proprietor and Event Director, Meredith Megan Rebar (Certified Cicerone©) began her career managing and producing special events and concerts at the Abbey Bar as part of Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg, PA.
She was part of the Tasting Room event team that opened the new Troegs Brewing Company () location in Hershey, PA. After moving to Philadelphia to be a part of the burgeoning beer scene, she joined Origlio Beverage () as a Corporate Communications Specialist, writing articles for the seasonal publications, Draught Lines and Heady Times () developed background knowledge of beer wholesaler operations and craft beer sales and how to incorporate social media to develop business growth. In addition to running HBE she brewed professionally at St. Benjamin Brewing Company, () chairs the Philly Loves Beer Education Committee and is a founding member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pink Boots Society ().

I truly fell in love with the culture and people of Mexico during my trip to Jalisco in 2019. The trip concluded during Day of the Dead, which is a celebration filled with images of sugar skulls and marigolds that I had only heard about or seen in pop culture. Being there to experience Day of the Dead, I saw that families celebrate the life of the people that they have lost through colorful altars, joyful remembrance, story telling of fond memories and special food and beverages. Through my cocktail submission for #ochotakemetomexico, the Flor De Muerto, or Flower of the Dead, a nickname for marigolds, I want to honor and incorporate memories and recipes from my mom who passed away. She would have appreciated the festival fall flavors in the cocktail, it’s bright red glow and the name since we always had marigolds growing around the yard growing up. Cocktail: Flor de Muerto Ingredients: 2 oz Tequila Ocho Plata Silver (infused 48 hours with baked apples, star anise, cinnamon sticks, orange peels and honey) 1 oz Campari .25 oz honey simple syrup 2 oz homemade cranberry juice (boil cranberries in enough water to have them float until they start to burst, mash with potato masher, add sugar to taste and strain with a cheesecloth) 2 dashes of Orange Bitters Stir with ice and then strain over a large ice cube with star anise frozen inside.
