Valentines Day Dinner on Sat Feb 15, at 2:00pm.
Our menu will be Lasagna, Stuffed Shells, Chicken Diablo over Linguine, Italian Salad, Garlic bread. For dessert we will have "Lava Cake" or a classic cheesecake with Raspberry Sauce. Come join us for a special dinner with your Valentine sweetheart!

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR SANTA'S GIFT SHOP Mansion at Philippi as preparations are made for their annual Christmas Open House in December. New and/or gently used miscellaneous gift items (Christmas in theme or otherwise) such as books, glassware, figurines, crafts, ornaments, wreaths, linens, anything you may have on hand that would make a suitable Christmas gift will be welcomed. Monetary contributions are always helpful as well. To make arrangements for donations, you may contact Jeannie Mozley at (304) 457-4933.
Holiday decorating of the Mansion will begin on Tuesday, November 5, starting at 9AM. We invite volunteers to come join the decorating crew and help adorn our lovely and historic Mansion with festivity and lights to welcome guests for the 2024 season.
Open House on December 7 is FREE to the public with NO RESERVATION REQUIRED. Light refreshments will be served and Santa will be there to greet the youngsters.
The Community’s faithful support of Adaland Mansion is very much appreciated. We look forward to sharing the holidays with you.

A bus tour of ladies from the Pittsburgh area visited Adaland Mansion on September 18, 2024. They relaxed on the open-air pavilion for an afternoon tea and enjoyed a style show of Civil War attire. Afterward, tours of the Mansion were led by Linda Proudfoot and Melanee Shackleford. Models for the style show were Kelly Bracey, Terri Riffle, Micah Titchnell, and Art & Pamela Dodds who portrayed Governor Francis H. Pierpont and his wife, Julia. Terri graciously narrated the style show describing layers of ladies' undergarments, modeled by Kelly Bracey, as well as the styles and dress etiquette of the period as she modeled the winter garment she made for herself.
