Located on the grounds of the former Clemens Timber Mill, we are a community gathering place! The Philomath Scout Lodge is a 501(3)(c).

We are a community gathering place that can offer donated or discounted pricing to fellow non-profit organizations, youth clubs, K-12 schools, higher education groups, and municipal groups determined by the Board of Directors. We have a wide range of rooms for 12-50 people, or up to 299 people for your event. Our beautiful timber lodge boasts a gorgeous field stone fireplace, and large picture win

Celebrating 25 years since our Board of Directors established! The Board was formed on January 1st, 2000.

After 8 years of fundraising, the Philomath Scout Lodge was built in 2008! The photo is from the Grand Opening in 2008.

Thank you to our community members, Board of Directors, and supporters over the past 25 years! With your support, we have been able to continue our mission statement.

“The primary mission of the Philomath Scout Lodge is to provide a common meeting space for groups to congregate and freely go about their respective missions at little or no cost to them. This includes non-profit organizations, youth organizations, higher education, K-12 schools, and municipal groups as determined by the Board of Directors.”

It is that time of the year to start making your nominations for the 2025 Samaritan Awards. The Awards ceremony will be at The Philomath Scout Lodge Feb 7th from 6:30pm-8:30pm

Autumn Craft Show Setting Up!

Getting ready for the vendors tomorrow! They will be selling craft items Saturday & Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm 😃

Meadow

2025 weddings, make sure to check out our arbor in the meadow! It is a beautiful spot surrounded by wildlife— perfect for your ceremony! This spot can fit approximately 120-150 people (depending on how you choose to set up chairs).

Not 3, not 4, but 5 bucks were enjoying the morning sun & natural habitat by the Great Hall stage this morning! The 5th buck isn’t in the video, as he was enjoying our plants on the patio 😄🦌

Our Story

In 2000 the local scout leaders envisioned a cabin where they could meet. Eight years later their vision had grown with the acquisition of more property than they had ever dreamed of. The Philomath Scout Lodge opened it's doors in the fall of 2008. We are located on 58 beautiful acres of secluded wetlands and natural habitat. As an event venue, we are a community meeting place with conference rooms for 12-50, and our Great Hall has room for up to 299. Our beautiful timber lodge boasts a gorgeous fieldstone fireplace, and large picture windows showcase the coastal range including Mary's Peak.
