Good rib experiment tonight. 3 total racks. 2 salt and pepper with my normal glaze. 1 salt and pepper with a hot honey glaze. All smoked over applewood. First 2 pictures are traditional and the last 2 are the hot honey. Let's just say I may switch to this hot honey glaze! 😳

A couple beautiful tri tips tonight. Keeping it simple with salt and pepper on one and salt, pepper, and garlic on the other. Cooked on the Weber Kettle. Seared over charcoal and finished indirect with pecan smoke while being basted with butter every 5-10min.

Thank you to the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice, so we all can do what we love in the land of the free! Wonderful bbq today with some friends and family. Cooked up some brisket and pork shoulder. The wife added some slaw, corn salad, and mac salad. The neighbor made some baked beans. Easy to say we all ate good! I brought some plates to the neighbors too!

House ground brisket burger with jalapeño aoli, smoked gouda cheese, charred jalapeños, house pickled red onions, house bacon jam, topped with arugula, and served on a toasted brioche bun. This was such a well balanced, delicious burger!

1st rack - Pappy's rub from Pappy's Smokehouse

2nd rack - Salt and Pepper

3rd rack - sesame honey mustard binder with salt and pepper

3 really good racks and I'm pretty happy with them. I had jalapeño poppers on an upper rack that oozed onto the 2 s+p racks. That's why the bark looks splotchy 😔😆
