Where's your favorite spot to conduct business?
Today is a casual meeting, and I enjoy being in the comfort of my own home doing what I love! ππ π»β

After recouping the past couple of days, I finally have a moment to share some reflections on my first official event I hosted under my business Virtuoso Education Consulting Services (VECS).
Like many, I'm very critical of myself and forget to give myself grace in this world of entrepreneurship. Through this event I was reminded to keep pushing and doing what I envision, because I do make a difference!
I was able to:
*Use my organizational and planning skills
*Leverage the connections I've built over the past 4 years
*Give back to the community
*Provide a safe and welcoming environment for youth and families
*Support young entrepreneurs and community organizations
I know to constantly reminding myself of MY WHY... and keep going!
Thank you again to all the vendors, event supporters and sponsors who helped make this an amazing day!
I'm truly humble and honored to be accepted by the community and given the opportunity to do the things I love!
Stay tuned for more to come!

Exciting News...
I'm Presenting at the 2024 Teachers' Institute and Leading Change Conference on June 7th!
My presentation "A Storytelling Session- Through the Lens of a Multi-Cultural Educator" is an interactive session where I share my educational journey from elementary school to my current administrative role here in AZ.
This session is intended for educators and educational leaders to take a closer look at how they build better relationships with peers, students, and families; understand and utilize culturally responsive practices in schools; and identify potential personal biases that negatively impact their educational settings. Participants are engaged through storytelling dialog, self-reflective inquiries, community building activities and virtual game-based learning opportunities.
