I keep referring to myself in post captions, so I figured it was time for an intro. This one will be ‘official’, I’ll post fun facts here and there over the coming weeks...

I've always been a city girl with wanderlust for the desert. I love the landscape, the flora, the color palette, and the feeling of wide open space. Naturally, when it came time to make a move to Phoenix in fall 2019, I was all in.

As I set out to style our new home, I wanted to bring some of my favorite things about the outdoors, inside. I quickly discovered, however, just how difficult it was to find beautiful foliage AND design-forward pots/hangers all in one place. There were very few resources, and most of what was available didn't fit with my purchasing values or personal aesthetic. I knew there had to be many others out there experiencing the same thing.

So, with a background in marketing and small business, I decided to offer a solution. Enter Desert Green - a shop that marries the best parts of decorating your interior space with plants and flowers along with containers and vessels to display them. Each product has been carefully created to uphold the ideals that make us unique: PHX grown and nurtured; goods hand-crafted in the US; dedicated support of other female-owned businesses.

You can find me around Phoenix at various makers markets. Or, have me over, I also offer in-home consultations.
