While this day didn’t go as planned due to those dark clouds you see, we made the best of it! Mindset is everything when the weather quickly (and unexpectedly) decides to not be our friend - always make the best of it and remember you’re surround by all of your favorite people!

Last Saturday (if you couldn’t tell from our stories) we were part of the first annual Confetti Collective. put on the most beautifully organized event for planners and designers alike to showcase their talents and styles. Attendees (and judges) were able to walk through the space, picking their favorites and talking through designs. It was such a fun day, even though it started out with setting up in the rain. It ended with an awards dinner put on by the amazing sponsors, where we found out that I was awarded MVP (Most Valuable Planner 💜).

Our design was simple in comparison to others and it was definitely a humbling experience to be among some of the great planners in the Arizona wedding market. However, being awarded MVP was such an exciting honor, even if it was all in good fun! Design is wonderful, truly. However to me, MVP is all about the feeling I gave these undercover judges; confidence, expertise, and care that we had it handled.

So, if you’re one of our couples getting married this spring, next fall, haven’t booked yet, or on the fence - just know we have your wedding handled and we truly care!

Also - my wife and I might be randomly chanting,
“M-V-P!” around the house 🤣

Mock ups are a crucial part of the design process. It’s our chance to take the ideas on paper and see it all in person. Sometimes, we have bold ideas that don’t always work together, which was the case for this one. The mock up allows us to see if we need to scale back or add more! Ended up being the perfect table for J&J’s wildflower wedding.

This gloomy Friday is reminding me of one our more memorable weddings to date. So many couples this day were affected by the rain all over the state. It was probably the most stressful day weather wise for Arizona wedding vendors!

Paige and Angel’s ceremony was rained out and moved inside of the beautiful Sedona Heritage Museum. Their cocktail hour was hit or miss. Dinner had tailgate tents over their gorgeous tablescapes. It certainly wasn’t what we all hoped for them, logistically. However, they made the most of it. They did their private first dance with some sprinkles. They laughed about the weather with their guests. And best of all, they ended the night dancing in the rain! The magic of Sedona really made what could’ve been a crummy day, into something so memorable!
