OPEN MIC OF THE DECADE
Phx Firebird Events Is a volunteer events group who put on shows/ legendary open mics and drink and draws! THIS THURSDAY Is the third “ Love Still Rocks Event” ♥️ l have been coordinating/planning this event for several months and am putting on this extravagant free event for the public- to spread a little joy out there by reminding people the healing qualities of art.
We have 3 live painters, a Photoghrager and videographer and legendary experience with open mics. This one is especially special- being at a historic Roosevelt house The Teapot on 5th avenue and Roosevelt ♥️so come out this Thursday! 2/8/24 This is not a long event so come join us for the whole ride!
This open mic will be focused on Visual Art, Original Music and Original poetry. NO COVERS- if I get comedians they will have the shortest amount of time.

For a little background- we have 6 years of hoisting open mics throughout the city of Phoenix. The past year we focused on visual art with Drink and Draw sessions.

Phx Firebird Events is going back to taking a break putting on events after this event so there is no gaursbtee when you’ll be able to attend another!

We are so grateful to have not one, but THREE different types of media partners for Love Still Rocks 3 💫 will have a Photo Booth for anyone to come and pose in! will be documenting live performances with skill and professionalism as will be flying free, shooting candids or that magic sparkle in your eye.

All vendors (including the media team) will be accepting tips (all Venmo/tip jars will be available at the show).
All we ask is that you remember to tag appropriately- wether you are recording an artist or using production created of/for you.
We thrive best when we support one another. ♥️

Announcing our vendors! This February 8th at we will be celebrating our third Love Still Rocks event from 6-9:30pm
Inside the cafe we will have Tarot at the Teapot with food vending by outside along with 3 live painters and who will all have prints for sale as well. Get to know your artist community while listening to amazing music and poetry outdoors on a beautiful day. Coffee and booze will be available for purchase. Please share! This is a free event for the people of Phoenix to feel a little less alone. We love you!
