Sorry KC. We still love ya. KC Cary, Black Potatoe recording artist and philosopher extraordinaire. Www.kccary.com
Jimmy Vivino and John Ginty. Both have played Black Potatoe multiple times, both have been as supportive as anyone has. Their resume’s are so expansive that it is just easier to say there’s like only three acts they haven’t played with. I’ve seen both on stage with the Allman Brothers. I’ve seen Jimmy with many different blues legends, like Hubert Sumlin. I’ve seen him with Levon Helm, Jimmy McGriff, the Fab Faux and countless others. Not to mention being the music director for the funniest guy on television, Conan. John is currently in the Allman Betts band and also works with the Dixie Chicks. He has shared the stage with The Dead, Carlos Santana, Citizen Cope, Levon, Robert Randolph and countless others. But where they both shine in our world is their willingness to work with indies, and share some of that talent. Thank you guys. Thank you for your generosity with your talents.
Pat O’Shea. Guitarist for Levon Helm and the Barnburners, blues guy, rock guy, all around great guy, killer player, killer songwriter and long-time friend of Black Potatoe’s. And he is playing on Saturday night this year. We will see you then Pat.
Texas Rocker, incredible songwriter, showman, performer, humanitarian and Phoenix native Dave Insley. An independent artist that has been fighting the good fight for years. Thanks Dave.

Susan Werner has performed at Black Potatoe multiple times and is one of this country’s premiere singer songwriters. Her songs are an amazing journey thru American life. Her tenth album “Kicking the Beehive” was produced by Rodney Crowell and features guests Keb’ Mo and and Vince Gill and her song “Did Trouble Me” was recorded by singing legend Tom Jones. Susan has always been a great friend to Black Potatoe and independent music and we are proud to have had her perform at our festival.

Gregg Cagno. Clinton native, alumni of 21 of the past 22 Black Potatoes, Black Potatoe recording artist, award winning songwriter, traveling troubadour, one of the five lead singers of Hypothermia and all around great person. There is no greater friend to Black Potatoe. Gregg and Matt Angus played their first gig at the Mill 30 years ago this summer.
Angela Adams. Angela is an alumni of the first Black Potatoe Festival in 1997. When Black Potatoe first started we probably did not have bigger supporters than Angela, Mef and their band the Partners. Angela sang some vocals for KC Cary’s most recent release and continues to be a huge supporter of independent and local musicians. Thank you Angela.
Caren Kennedy
Caren Kennedy. another great friend of Black Potatoe's. There is probably not another person int he world that has played as many gigs in Hunterdon county. An alumni of the first Black Potatoe and quite a few since. Caren has a great album and you can check it out here. https://www.carenkennedy.com
Tom Gordon and Black Potatoe
Our incredible stage manager, Tom Gordon. When Tom isn't teaching, or working with White Snake, Mike Love, Boys To Men, Dr. Dre, The Beach Boys or Credence, he comes to Clinton and mangers our stage. I think Tom has met the Challenge set out by Carter William Humphrey.
Carter William Humphrey Grammy winning engineer, mixer and producer (Rod Stewart, Queen Latifah, Brian Wilson, Carly Simon) and long time Black Potatoe friend. Thank you friend, and thank you for supporting independent music.
Scott Hull owner of Masterdisk. Scott has done all of the mastering for Black Potatoe, to quote Scott, for longer than we would like to admit. His resume’ includes Springsteen, Sting, Steely Dan, David Byrne, just to name a few. Thank you Scott for all of your support.
