"Hello...Aquilantes!"
For almost 40 years, every phone call began with those two words. Aquilante, had a passion for providing his customers with nothing but the best when it came to food and service. Growing up in Berwyn, he worked for his father Congens Aquilante, who had created "Aquilante's Modern Meat Market." It was a meat and retail grocery store that specialized in home-dressed meats, fa
ncy produce and home deliveries. It was here that Anthony found his love for serving the Main Line families. In 1976, he started his own catering business, Gourmet Buffets. His freshly prepared foods and elegantly designed decor set him apart from other caterers. He took the time to talk with each customer to create a customized menu to suit their taste, style and budget. And with every event, his presentation and buffet satisfied both eyes and appetites! In 1988, Anthony came up with another distinguishing feature of his business. He designed and built a catering trolley that would offer his customers on-site catering services. It was a walk-through food service vehicle that required no setup or clean-up. It was an instant hit as most clients loved the convenience and charm his dining cars. After 25 years of offering full service aboard his trolleys, he created the Trolley trailer, a smaller version of it predecessors. In 2010, Gourmet Buffets became Aquilante Catering and though Anthony passed away suddenly in 2015, his business is still family owned and operated today, continuing his tradition of excellence in delivering the finest homemade foods, with the outstanding service customers have come to expect. We at Aquilante’s have a passion in what we do, and a commitment to be the best!

The most rewarding catering event we do every year!! We're honored to cook and serve dinner for our Veterans at their 'Welcome Home' celebration after their tour of all the monuments in Washington, DC. Serving over 300 people every year, this event is a family affair!! We could not do it without the help of our, siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends who are family! We want to give an extra special shout out to Cristina Giannandrea (of San Nicola in Paoli) and her daughters, Debbie and Johnny Abel (of Abel Brothers Towing in Malvern) and Harry McKinney and Bunny Welsh! What an amazing night and the weather was perfect! God bless America!! 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

There will be a demonstration by the United States Air Force Drill Team at 5:00PM followed by the arrival of 175 veterans at 6:00PM who served during World War II, The Korean and Vietnam wars

Father’s Day is a day set aside to honor fathers and recognize their influence in our lives. Our father not only influenced the lives of his children but so many others…our friends, his customers, those who worked for him and those he would just meet. It would never fail to find someone who would say… I am number 17! He had that way of making people feel like they were part of the family. He always challenged us to raise the bar and never settle for mediocrity. He always provided for us and would give the shirt off his back for anyone. And he taught us to do the same. He helped us to recognize who we were as his children but also to honor God as our Father. He taught us to give without counting the cost and taught us to trust that whatever we do in helping others that we would receive back tenfold. Here is to celebrating a man who continues to teach us from Heaven to never give up and to give with all we have! We love and miss you, Dad! Salute! #Aquilantestrong Happy Father’s Day!
