Halloween night Shell’s Downtown will have their Thursday buffet @ The Place Downtown with lots of spooky friends, lots of games & treats for your little ghost & goblins 🎃 Lots of scary monsters & great food! We will have games with scary prizes set up on Ladiga St for the smaller kids. We will also have a costume contest for the kids at 6:00pm. There will be 2 age groups 0-5 & 6-13. You can register your monster with your server.
Halloween Buffet: $12.99 kids 2 & under free 3-9 $6.99
We will list the buffet lineup on a separate post.

I just want to thank Chainbuster Racing for bringing the Shake n Bake Gravel race to Piedmont this past weekend, we are always happy to host their event. Can’t wait to do it again in the Spring.

Ok friends it is nearly that time again! Halloween night we will be having our 3rd annual Haunted Restaurant at The Place Downtown in downtown Piedmont, Al. Shell's Downtown will be catering a AYCE BACKYARD BBQ BUFFET! We will have pulled pork, bbq chicken, bbq/lemon pepper wings, salad, many sides and dessert (homemade banana pudding). We will have the back yard fireplaces set up and the Place will be decorated for the occasion. And dont forget we go all out on dressing up so dress up those kids and paw paw and come on down for a fun evening.

We want to say thank you to Corey Smith and his team for a great show last night, it is truly amazing to watch the crowd response at a Corey Smith show, its not everyday you can look around and see virtually every person in the building singing along to every song. Hunter Chastain Music did a great job on the opening act as always. We especially want to thank all the folks that came out and spent their hard earned money and made this show a success. Corey Smith and his team are getting set up and ready for the show tonight, Hunter Chastain Music will kick it off at 7pm then Corey will start around 8pm. Tickets still on sale at Freshtix.com, or you can get them at the gate tonight. Don’t forget to come early and grab some supper next door at Shell's Downtown. Just a reminder, Ladiga Street is closed to accommodate the band until around midnight tonight so parking is behind the venue, walk between Shell’s and The Place Downtown down the alleyway to enter the venue from the front. Tickets on sale now at Freshtix.com. Corey Smith will be back in downtown Piedmont,Al. 9/21. This year we are offering a special meet & greet ticket including a seat in the “up stairs VIP” with private bar and merchandise package, this will take place 30 minutes before the show, just go to Freshtix.com, search “The Place Downtown “, scroll to this show then go to the seating chart and choose a seat in the “upstairs VIP” (every ticket in the upstairs VIP will include this package. Also available for this show are “downstairs raised seating” tickets and “general admission “ tickets.

Yall make plans to come see us this Saturday night at The Place Downtown. We are having our 3rd Strings & Stories show, $10 cover or $5 with proof of purchase from Shell's Downtown. Three very talented singer/ songwriter will be on the stage starting at 8pm, telling their stories behind the songs they sing, with a collaboration at the end that will have everyone singing along.

What a night! We want to thank Heath Sanders and his team for an awesome show. No doubt a professional and extremely talented group of musicians, that brought a show to Piedmont, Al that was as good as we have ever seen.
Definitely can’t wait to have these guys back on our stage. Also an outstanding performance by Austin Bishop Music to open things up. If you haven’t seen these guys perform you need to catch a show, you want be disappointed. And as always a flawless night at The Place Downtown from our wonderful staff. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
