Sadly, the house is a bit quieter as Birdadette’s beautifully boisterous commentary has ceased.

Born in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota, Birdadette joined us at an early age. Regardless of species and age, she brought great delight to all who met her. When Kevin started working full time in the library she greeted him each morning and enjoyed occasional appearances during virtual meetings. Like her coastal French counterparts, Birdadette particularly loved her summers on the porch. She will be missed, but a legacy has begun.
