Seeking Showstopping Female Vocalist - Mezzo/Belter

We are on the lookout for an extraordinary talent for Christmas at Array 2024. Rehearsals will begin in September with the show opening in November. Candidates must have the ability to seamlessly navigate between musical genres and possess a commanding stage presence. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong capabilities in pop, rock, and contemporary musical theatre, with an impressive belt up to F5.

Requirements:

• Exceptional vocal talent with strong pop/rock/contemporary musical theatre abilities.

• Ability to belt confidently up to an F5.

• Must be able to move VERY well; strong dance skills are essential.

• Experience in performing as a leading lady or in prominent roles is a plus.

Buford grew up in Texas and Tennessee, attending Belmont University in Nashville where he earned a bachelor’s degree in literature. Because of his education and love of knowledge he is known by all the other hillbillies as the Mountain William.
He began performing as a magician in his youth but in 1988 his magic career was cut short by a tragic lack of talent. It was at this time he embraced his childhood hobby of ventriloquism which has now taken him all around the world. He has performed in the Great Smoky Mountains since the mid 1990s, appearing at many different theaters. He has also appeared on cruise ships, in theaters, and television and appeared with such great entertainment icons as The Statler Brothers, Boots Randolph, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Basically, he can’t hold down a job.

2023 seemed to fly by and we couldn't have asked for a better first season for Array Variety Show!
