My heart is filled with gratitude for all Veterans today. Thank you for your service to our country! Daniel married his sweetheart, Nancy, yesterday in full biker attire with his Vietnam Veteran status displayed proudly. It was an honor to officiate their “Simply I Do” ceremony and watch the smiles on their faces!

Happy Veterans Day with immense gratitude to all who serve to keep our country safe, including first responders. Jamie and Renee got married at our mountain view adventure site with Miss Abi officiating on November 7th. I enjoyed hearing Renee's stories about rescuing wildlife, and watching the tender way Jamie looked into her eyes the most. This fall wedding season has been full of people in love!

Claudia & Curtis traveled all the way from Wisconsin to simply say, "I Do" at our family-friendly mountain view. It always amazes me how far people travel to see the Smoky Mountains! Their ceremony was quiet and peaceful with their precious daughter often sitting at their feet. Miss Abi officiated with a backdrop of fall colors. Simple weddings like this fill my heart with joy!

This is the joy of a woman in love! Megan and Jon upgraded their Simply I Do package to a mini wedding on November 5th, realizing they wanted the traditional experience of her father walking her down the aisle, and a lot more photo time. They wed on election day at our family-friendly mountain view site, then had photos created on our main grounds as well. My favorite place to take pictures right now is the tree swing by our creek! Our couples seem to be enjoying the variety of wedding packages we offer from basic to "boujee" or somewhere in between. Everyone is unique. Whichever package you choose, you're as important to me as if Dolly herself walked through our doors!

Don Fields Photography was here! He and his wife, Melissa, captured love and created artistic memories for Mary and Erin on October 10th. They're one of our favorite local photographers to recommend. Mary and Erin's family celebrated together on our farm with tasty food from Buddy's Custom Catering followed by laughter and dancing. Chris with J3 Entertainment kept the mood high! As usual, Abi and I got attached to Mary during the planning process and so she is now, "Cousin Mary!" I am in LOVE with their wedding images...

Nikkie and Travis traveled from Illlinois to make their mountain wedding come true on November 2nd, 2024. How about those dresses on their girls! My favorite part of the day was watching the natural way in which Nikkie and Travis interacted with each other. The golden maple tree near our stone archway remained a focal point for wedding photographs, and we used the lower grounds, the family mountain wedding site, and the mountain adventure site for photographs.

By far, my favorite part of Ashley and Michelle's wedding was when they read their vows privately before the ceremony with their family and friends immediately after. It was a sincere honor to officate that ceremony, and my heart is filled with joy knowing two best friends heeded the call to their soul connection. Just enough rain fell earlier in the day for good luck, and fall leaf color was still a focus of interest for their photographs. I enjoyed watching Michelle take her own pictures of her children before the wedding, too!

Nothing like a spooky Halloween wedding! Did you know we've booked a wedding on Halloween since the year we started in 2006? Therefore, I declare it a wedding holiday! And yes... Halloween 2025 is already booked. Let's congratulate Lee and Roscoe on their forever after, and give Summer Lynn Beauty a big high-five as well for hair and makeup. We can't forget Abi, though, because she's still giggling from all the fun she had with the smoke and pumpkins. Lee carved her own jack-o-lanterns and brought orange smoke makers and mardi gras masks for her luxury elopement wedding package.

Western weddings are popular here in the fall because the cooler weather makes the time spent with our horses more enjoyable. Miss Abi officiated Jessica and Chris' wedding in a unique location right in the middle of our outoor space behind the barn on October 30th. Did you know you can ask Abi to wear a cowgirl hat and jeans for your western wedding, too? My favorite part of this day was watching Chris ecstatically point to Jessica's new last name on the back of her white tassled jacket. Talk about a happy groom! We spent time on our main grounds for photos as well as our mountain view adventure site later, pulling together the perfect Smoky Mountain experience.

Their first date was on October 29th and Eric proposed later down the road on October 29th. You guessed it! Rachel married her sheriff on October 29th, 2024 at our mountain view ceremony site. They are both first responders, so you better believe they've got each other's back (and ours, too!) Let's give them some love and appreciation, and wish them a million years of happiness!

Elena and Brayden wed during the jackpot "leaf lottery" when the fall colors in the Smoky Mountains were at their finest in 2024. The ceremony was at our beloved willow tree with Pastor Jody (aka The Mountain Preacher) officiating. Look at the joy on Elena's face at our mountain adventure site! Look how proud Brayden is of his beautiful bride! These are the moments that fill my veins with lightning energy!

Grace and Adam traveled all the way from Wisconsin with their furry best friend to get married in the Smoky Mountains on October 25th. Miss Abi officiated at our mountain view adventure site with colorful leaves as a backdrop on the hills and ridges. I became especially attached to Adam's mother, Kim during the planning process, and as usual it was a sad moment saying good-bye! I loved the free spirited nature of both Adam and Grace the most about this wedding. Thankfully our couples and family make future trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so I hope to see them again!

Tia and Tim's love story began on Tik Tok. Their forever after began on October 26th with "Legendary" Phil King officiating at our Creekside Ridge ceremony site. Our mascot, Cash, made best friends with Tim, particularly enjoying his Bucee's dog treat gifts! This was a western style wedding with an emphasis on photographs with our horses. My favorite image was taken by the creek and hitching post with the fall colors on the ridge behind them. Tia & Tim honeymooned in my sister's cabin called "Little Mountain Hideaway" in historic Starkeytown, only five mintues from our venue. It was nice calling them neighbors for the week! Tia glows with a life force enhanced by Tim's love for her.

Our Story

Welcome to weddings the way they’re supposed to be enjoyed...

We believe if you’re getting married in the Smoky Mountains, you should have the time to enjoy your wedding experience. This is why we only schedule one wedding each day.

Our private venue’s flower gardens, flowing stream, and horses are best appreciated with the time to hold hands as you walk and talk about the new chapter in your life about to unfold. You may even wish to have a picnic beneath our willow tree before you put on your wedding dress.
