First time photographing the night sky... what a night to start! Enjoy these northern light photos from the Catahoula Lake area. I had to get far enough out of town. where light polution was minimal. I knew it was going to be a great night when I could see stars with my naked eye going down the road.

This photoshoot took a lot of effort, because, well I did it twice. I drove 3o minutes outside of Pineville, only to realize I didn't have my camera battery... I made the 30 minute trip back to the office to grab the batteries, got fueled back up, had a late night snack then headed back out. So glad I did!

One thing I love about high school football is all of the auxillary groups and teams that come together to make the Friday night lights so special. I had an idea, asked the kids if they were up for this photo, and they said let’s do it! Tioga High School JROTC.
