The business transaction was completed yesterday afternoon. Smoke'n Willie Ray & Son's BBQ & Catering now has a new owner and a new chapter.
I ask that each of you continue to support this bbq business. I have no doubt they will be very successful and continue to grow over time.
Thank you for all your kind words and support over the years! It was my pleasure to bring you the best bbq and smoked meats I could offer.
I will miss each of you! This will be my last post on this page.
This FB page will remain up and the new owner will be keeping everyone updated as they prepare to open!
Thank you & God blesss you! I will also continue to follow the business and will be promoting it.

I know this same smile shines down from Heaven above. This small family legacy will continue.
I can hear him say “Great job Pops!” and I would tell him “Yessir WE did good son”!
The vision was in place but Gods plans were different.
My family has no doubt that the BBQ business will carry on with great success.
My wife Myeva, daughter Tiffany, son in law Brian, son Scotti were very very instrumental in the building of our lil BBQ business.
There are two people that were also with me through this wonderful journey on the Big Red BBQ Rig, Marcus Allen whose like a brother to me and he and his family are our family. Marcus and I met through FB with the same dreams and passion for BBQ, we have become best friends over the years and prepared hundreds and hundreds of delicious meals together for our customers. Y’all better keep an eye on this young man, he is going to be a huge name in the bbq community in the very near future.
The second person is Brent McDaniel, one of the kindest, hardworking and dedicated individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting as well. Brent, has always stopped what he was doing to assist Marcus & I and a lot of times on a Saturday it was just he and I pushing BBQ out the window. He and his family have become our family.
These two men and their family’s will always be an important part in our lives. Lots of fun memories shared and shoulders to cry on during the sad times.

As of next week Smoke'n Willie Ray & Son's BBQ & Catering will have a NEW OWNER & OPERATOR!
The new owner has purchased the The Big Red Rig, Business Name and ALL recipes.
I will be training the néw personnel as they will be bringing you the very best in BBQ!
The Name and Delicious BBQ will continue in CENLA!

Bittersweet… Please take a moment to read.
After much prayer, thought, talk and discernment Myeva and I have decided it is time we move forward with our decisions.
We will be moving to Prairieville to be with our family this Spring.
We are looking forward to spending more quality time with our family.
I have decided not to relocate the BBQ business.
The catering and BBQ business has been very good and has been a great ride for me and my family for the past thirty years.
I have no regrets and have enjoyed this experience in life.
The BBQ & Catering business has only been very successful because of YOU! I can’t thank each and every one of you enough! Your support and your loyalty goes beyond measure. I love each and every one of you!
With this being said…
As of today Smoke'n Willie Ray & Son's BBQ & Catering is for SALE!
I currently have a prospective buyer that I should hear from him in the next few days.
The Big Red BBQ Rig is only 3 years old.
It is one of the best built units in Louisiana and is coded for every state in the union.
The Unit weighs approximately 12,500 pounds.
State of the art Generator, commercial kitchen and two Deep South competition commercial smokers on the back porch.
If you think this is a career and passion you want to pursue, this is the Rig for you.
