So excited to announce! We are now DDD approved! So if your family receives DDD you can use those funds for your adult on the spectrum to come to the PaintGround!

We are fully mobile support accessible!
I do guided sensory painting sessions when needed!
Support and therapuetic staff are always welcomed!

If you'll need to utilize DDD for this please call us to make a reservation and let the staff member that answers the phone know!

Please share to your circle! It's real hard to find resources that exist!

I have this friend, who throws this incredible mind, body, soul retreat (with live music at night). She’s so inclusive, open to ideas and we are always pushing each other to grow! I said to her “I’d love to do a paint slip n slide” and she said “I dare you”. 😍 I had never done a paint slip n slide at an event before!! And she had full faith to let me run with it!

This was so fun! And I’ll be back Anahata’s Purpose 2025 in October to do it again - only bigger and better and at night and under black lights … LETS GO!! Remember when you played … in the days before bills were due and little specks flew through your vision …

Today’s field trip highlights:

while we waited for their bus … I explained to a group of 8 year olds what the “death of an ego” meant based on a painting on the wall. They wanted to know why a sword is stabbing something.

Then they asked me why I do art so I told them that art helps me get emotions inside my body outside of my body, like if someone is mean to me and I don’t know how to talk about it I can paint how I feel, or if I love someone but it’s an emotion bigger than I have words for I can paint that too.

And my biggest highlight was watching the sensory avoidant kiddo conquer his challenges and make some cool art surrounded by his peers! At first he was alone and scared to join in! ❤️❤️❤️

I love what I do! And THIS is why I opened the PaintGround. We are so much more than a splatter studio

Want to join our fun team! We are looking for a new PaintTender.

Part time
Weekends
Sundays are mandatory.
18+ Must be reliable and capable of being trained to open/close alone on weekends.
Able to multi task in a fast paced environment.
Good with people/outgoing
Able to handle getting paint on hands regularly.
This is a fun job but we do get messy!
