PSA: It would be a good idea to get your prescription refills in the next couple of days before the weather gets here monday. We will be open no matter what happens but sometimes the delivery trucks can't get to us and some items run out of stock. We have stocked up in anticipation so come and see us!

PSA: Attention Tricare/Express Scripts members. You may have received a letter stating that you can no longer have your prescriptions filled at independent pharmacies. Good news.....we didn't think that it was fair for the federal government to bypass us and only let the big kids play. They heard us and reversed course. Contracting will be completed by December 1st. Thanks for being patient while we fought for patients' right of choice. We hope you will check us out if you would like to support some hometown people that support our hometown.

Want the Flu Vaccine but are afraid of needles? We have Flumist (administered via nasal route) this year for ages 2-49. Cash price is $40 but most insurance pays for the vaccine with no copay. Come and see us!

We have 10 doses of flumist remaining. It is the intranasal flu vaccine. We can administer to ages 8 and up.

We have a good supply of regular flu vaccine and a short supply of high dose vaccine for ages 65 plus.

Store hours for Wednesday, February 17th............12pm to 3pm.

We tried extended hours the past couple of days but with the clinics closed and no doctors working we just sat and twiddled our thumbs. We will try the smaller window of time on wednesday the 17th to take care of emergency refills and then finally take some snow time with our families. Thanks and stay safe out there!

Hometown Public Service Announcement

I have been comparing prescription costs using Good RX or Single Care versus our own in-store discount card. I really can't believe the prices they advertise thinking it's a great price.....it isn't. It may be a big discount over a chain store where the cash price is inflated but at our store we have always aggressively discounted our everyday prices. I strongly urge our Pittsburg friends to check our prices at Parker Drug before you use that good rx coupon somewhere else. We will save you money and your information won't be floating out there on the internet. Yes, they make money using YOUR information.
