How or why did you start a bounce house/party rental company, is a common question we've been asked...so here goes.
How it all began!
We rented a bounce house combo for our own children's birthday party and it was rather expensive....so this man, this business owner of a man, that we simply call Dad in our home, came up with the great idea to buy some and make it more affordable for families all around us!
The order was placed, then came the business name game - we refer to it as such because it took us weeks of writing words, phrases, etc on paper around the house until we merged them all and came up with our business name now and created a logo - which also took many attempts!
Next, a huge box truck showed up with 3 units, a 12' Blue water slide, Modular Rainbow, and Mega Rainbow. Our very first inflatable units!
We almost immediately, well as soon as we were done signing for our delivery and that huge box truck pulled off the top of our street, started working together to open the boxes and took all 3 units to our backyard, all 5 of us...our children were just as excited as we were to see these blown up, so we let them play on them for hours that day!!
We then ordered vehicle magnets with our newly created logo (and yes, before it's asked or comments are made. We had commercial auto insurance so we could put them on!), business cards, and built a website- building a website was not the easiest thing we've ever done but after some hard work and dedication it was accomplished!
Then came the serious part, going to seminars and getting certified with the state, getting our LLC established, amongst other not as fun things, though we still managed to make it as fun as possible!
When we were finally considered a "legit" running company, we started by pulling that red open trailer. We actually borrowed the trailer from family for the first few jobs, ok maybe more than a few, until we could afford our own.
We pulled both of those trailers with our family vehicle, a Chevy Traverse until we could upgrade the car we owned to a truck - we now only own trucks capable of pulling trailers, as we own multiple trailers now also.
These children of ours worked right alongside us, helping with all the small things that are needed to properly set these units up for other families to enjoy. Including but not limited to stakes, tarps, hand held shop vacs, rags, spray bottles of cleaner and sanitizer. And of course, at the end of each job they got to ride back on the dolly!
They came on almost all of our jobs that first year and got to meet some really nice, generous customers and experience things they otherwise would not have.
Special thank you to our customers that are on here and see this, you all have been AWESOME and we are all so thankful for YOU!!!!
Now fast forward, we are in our 3rd season. We have an amazing second crew running and we couldn't be happier that they joined us on this journey last year and are a vital part of our team!
Our whole team has met so many people as well as some of their families, friends and neighbors, have had so many different experiences and learning opportunities that we will be forever grateful for. We have gained so much knowledge, and found ways to work more efficiently to provide the best experience possible for any and all of our future customers!
If you're reading this, you're following our business page or are our friend and if we haven't worked with you yet for an event you've held, we surely hope to in the future!!!
