Cookie table tips (from a girl that sees A LOT of cookie tables):

• don’t mix and match types on a single tray (this helps with cross contamination and allergies)

• choose boxes over bags, so cookies stay together and fresh

• ask your planner, caterer or a family member to collect a sample box or platter for the couple so you don’t miss out

• only place cookies on the trays and platters vs on the actual table to keep things clean

• provide labels and tongs!

• ask family and friends who are making cookies to provide them in a container they don’t need back or can be thrown away

• don’t overdo it or clutter the table. Spread it out and take the time to make it look nice, otherwise it will look like chaos

• save me a lady lock 😉

I love communal tables, especially for cocktail hour —
giving your guests the chance to sit and mingle amongst one another without confining them to their dinner seats.

I’m all about the overall flow, and allowing your friends and family to not feel restricted when it comes to the layout of your wedding.

Nothing beats an ceremony, especially when it’s on the spa lawn.

Thinking back to this beautiful day, when K + B had unbelievable weather in November and we were able to celebrate outdoors.

IMO, these are things worth spending a little more or a little less on for your wedding —

SPLURGE 👍🏼
(This sets the tone for everything) Venue + Food
(The only physical memory you’ll have) Photographer + Videographer
(Your guests will always remember if the music was good and if everyone was dancing) Entertainment
(Could be one and not both, but these will make a huge difference in your overall design) Upgraded linens and Chairs
(Biased opinion) Planner or at least a Day of Coordinator

SAVE 👎🏼
Guest favors (unless it’s something you can eat or drink)
Personal accessories (shoes, veil, items you’ll only wear once)
Welcome sign (unless your venue can accommodate more than one event at a time)
Welcome bags (a nice touch but it won’t make or break the experience)
Save the Dates (nobody will remember what these looked like)
Programs (these will get thrown away)

S + S turned to me for guidance when deciding where they should take photos — their only preference, was including city elements since their wedding was in the Strip District.

We used their hotel block to our advantage, Homewood Suites has a great outdoor balcony and then made a quick stop at before heading to ✨

Consider the travel time, how many people might be at the location and convenience when choosing where you want to take photos. If you’re not sure where to look or don’t know what would be best, your photographer will always guide you!
