South Side Kids is teaming up with Red Roses Floral in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood to spread love this Mother’s Day to local children and families.

Kids and their parents or caregivers are invited to a free Build-Your-Own-Bouquet Workshop at 12th and East Carson Streets on Thursday, May 9, from 4:30-6:30pm. Generously donated by Red Roses and Senator Jay Costa, kids can create mom a free, beautiful floral arrangement using flowers sourced locally.

Guests attending will enjoy a Women’s Health Minute Information Session with local South Sider Jocelyn J. Fitzgerald MD, specialist in urogynocology and doctor behind the popular, informative women’s health instagram account, .

Local kid artists, Olive and Rocco, will be onsite from to paint Mommy and Me matching designs! Additionally, kids can make-mom-a-masterpiece at the Art Station led by lifelong Nadia and Bri.
