- Help soonlyweds style and find their final look!
- Create a welcoming and inclusive for our clients by building genuine connections
- Keep our showroom clean and organized
- Celebrate the “yes!” moments! 🥂

Are we a good fit?
- Bridal experience preferred, but not necessary! A background in retail is a must!
- Weekend availability required, plus some weekdays a plus!
- Attention to detail and love for all things fashion

NYBFW in review 🤍 There’s something incredibly inspiring about seeing some of our favorite people (aka the designers of your dresses!!) and deciding on new gowns to add to our collection.

It gives me the giggles to think that people we haven’t met yet are going to wear these dresses on their wedding day. Wild. You guys keep comin’, so we’ll keep buying! Love you all to pieces ❤️

If you’ve come into Gemma to find your dream dress, I may have been the one helping you! As the lead stylist, official playlist curator, and manager of the shop, my face is the one you will see the most ☺️

A little bit about me 🤍

I went to school for Fashion Merchandising at the University of Delaware. Go Blue Hens!

After school, I worked in costume/wardrobe departments for Pittsburgh theatre and film/television. I pick up wardrobe jobs when I can and work on some amazing shows in some fabulous theaters - like broadway tours at the Benedum Center! ✨

When I’m not at Gemma, I’m an avid yogi, wine lover, concert goer, and snuggler of my 2 cats 😽

I recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary here at Gemma! I truly love what I do and am so thankful to help create special moments with our brides. I love getting to know each and every one of you, laughing and having fun together, and maybe shedding a couple tears when you find “the one”! 🥲

I’m so excited for all that’s in store this next year! I’m looking forward to seeing your Pinterest boards and meeting you soon! And sending love to all our past brides, too!! 🫶🏻

Hey, hey, hey! My name is Emma - I am the Founder and Owner of Gemma Bridal. 🤍 For those who have been in our shop and/or got their dress from us, hi, I miss you!

For those who we haven’t met, here’s a few things about me!

I started sewing at the age of 8, teaching myself how to use a sewing machine that I got for Christmas 🎄

My first job at 16 was in a bridal/prom shop in my hometown of Parkersburg, West Virginia. This is where I fell in love with the industry.

I went to school for Fashion Design and Merchandising at WVU. That’s where I learned to make your dresses look perfect 🪡

After school, my husband and I moved to Pittsburgh and have been here for almost 9 years now 🏙️

My hobbies outside of work? Check back in with me on that one - I’m learning how to get back to the things I love doing after pouring -literally- all my time into this wonderful business. I am so thankful for our growing team who is making that possible ❤️

Oh, and the little cutie sitting next to me? That’s Daisy. My heart and soul, she has been here since day one. I keep track of how old Gemma Bridal is by how old she is, they launched at the same time 🤣❤️ She is so invested in each and every one of you. She has so much interest in what everyone picks out and the alterations process. Looking at your wedding day pictures? Her favorite!

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. After four years, it feels like forever, but in reality we are just getting started 🔥

The days of being a one-woman show seem so far away, but they were the foundation that Gemma Bridal was built on. They mean the world to me. 🤍

I am SO incredibly thankful for the team of 6 we now have to share this amazing journey with. 🫶 My allergies start to act up when I think about all of the brides who supported Gemma Bridal in those early days 🥹

If you have a dream you have been sitting on, chase it! It’s not smooth, it doesn’t happen overnight, but it won’t happen if you don’t make it happen. 🫶
