Hey, hey, hey! My name is Emma - I am the Founder and Owner of Gemma Bridal. 🤍 For those who have been in our shop and/or got their dress from us, hi, I miss you!
For those who we haven’t met, here’s a few things about me!
I started sewing at the age of 8, teaching myself how to use a sewing machine that I got for Christmas 🎄
My first job at 16 was in a bridal/prom shop in my hometown of Parkersburg, West Virginia. This is where I fell in love with the industry.
I went to school for Fashion Design and Merchandising at WVU. That’s where I learned to make your dresses look perfect 🪡
After school, my husband and I moved to Pittsburgh and have been here for almost 9 years now 🏙️
My hobbies outside of work? Check back in with me on that one - I’m learning how to get back to the things I love doing after pouring -literally- all my time into this wonderful business. I am so thankful for our growing team who is making that possible ❤️
Oh, and the little cutie sitting next to me? That’s Daisy. My heart and soul, she has been here since day one. I keep track of how old Gemma Bridal is by how old she is, they launched at the same time 🤣❤️ She is so invested in each and every one of you. She has so much interest in what everyone picks out and the alterations process. Looking at your wedding day pictures? Her favorite!
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. After four years, it feels like forever, but in reality we are just getting started 🔥
