When it comes to painting cabinets, we have two recommendations:
1) Cabinets are used often and considered high-traffic surfaces. Regular wall paint won't protect as well as a cabinet specific paint.
2) To avoid any kind of brush strokes or roller texture on the finished surface, use a paint sprayer.
