My quilt made from 1/2” square pieces of cotton with a heat pressed vinyl overlay now exhibiting at the National Quilt Museum!! The theme was “Roaring Twenties,” and I chose to use only the 4 patch quilt block to portray a flapper girl from that era 💖🧵🪡✂️

It was a great honor to present this year at the Ecolution Fashion Gala!!

I recreated as a tribute to one of my favorite designers his Chimera Dress using coffee filters, tarp, zip ties, and plastic poster board. As a young fashion student, I was in awe the first time seeing this dress. I hope I was able to capture some of that magic 🔮

Happy Earth Day!!

Today is a day to celebrate and advocate for Mother Earth. That’s why Port Amelie and I have collaborated with upcycled giveaways in honor of Earth Day! Our aim is to bring awareness and empowerment to how we can use textiles in a more Earth-friendly way.

WIN: ‘’Archer’’ a quilted wall hanging of a forest scene in upstate NY. This masterpiece measures 15”x15” and is a unique piece of art constructed with fabric scraps.

And

‘’Western Betty’’ an upcycled bum bag made of patchworked leathers repurposed from leather coats and pants. She measures 12’’ across and 7’’ deep. She will be your sustainable fashion accessory perfect for every outfit.
