If you’re following our account, you’re probably expecting to see pretty weddings and stylish events. While for almost 10 years now our feed has consisted of those things with a little personal life mixed in, everything has changed since losing Landon…

I still get joy from creating beautiful events for our clients but a major shift unexpectedly came in how I want to show up… after losing our sweet Landon on March 7, 2024, we still plan to share all the amazing Festivities and event designs but we will also continue to be raw and share real life in hopes that it can help someone else going through something in their life…

Since Landon‘s passing, our DM have been filled with stories from mothers who have also gone through traumatic experiences. Some of which have lost babies and some of them are holding their babies a little bit tighter each day with grateful arms.

I find joy in talking about Landon but It is also extremely hard at the same time. It’s extremely hard walk around our home and see photos of our happy family and then the same photo of Landon printed in a variety of sizes because we will never have additional photos of him. It’s hard to walk past his room and see his unused crib and rocking chair, it’s hard to walk in our neighborhood that we are so grateful for and see baby boys being pushed in their strollers and little toddlers riding their scooters and bikes and the elementary school boys lacrosse team that practices every evening on the field right next to our house…we can’t help but think about Landon and how that should be him.

To all the moms out there who are dealing with loss and navigating this weekend‘s holiday I see you, my heart aches for you, as tears run down my face as I write this, I cry with you.

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms whether your child is here in your arms earth side or with you in spirit or has yet to come to you in the form of a positive pregnancy test, I hope you find some joy in this weekend and know that you are in my heart.

Landon’s Sweet Sprinkle🤍
I can’t help but feel intense guilt over not sharing my pregnancy with Landon. I did in person once I was further along but not on social media. I’m not really sure why other than I just didn’t really want to. So many odd things happened during my pregnancy with him that I look back on now and it just makes me deep dive into a world of “what ifs”.

This is the hardest thing I’ll ever write in my life, it’s most likely the hardest thing myself, Matt and our family will go through. Many of you may have not known since we never “announced it” online but we were expecting our sweet baby boy to join us on or around his due date on March 14th (this Thursday, one day after my 30th birthday).

On March 7th I went into labor at home naturally and when contractions were closer in time we made our way to the hospital. Everything seemed fine and normal. I had had a doctors appointment less than 24hrs ago on the day before, his heartbeat was perfect and he was kicking and moving nonstop (as he did the whole pregnancy). We were excited and giddy between contractions and ready to meet our baby boy.

Within minutes of being in triage I was rushed to an extremely packed OR while being spoken to by 6 people at once, all telling me what was happening, all of which I hardly understood or could hear. I was in the OR for a total of 6 mins before I was put under and an emergency C-section was preformed to get baby out.

To say it was all a blur is an understatement.

Our sweet angel was born 8:42 am while I was under. I woke up in the recovery room filled with doctors and nurses and my husband standing over me telling me that our baby did not survive.

Landon James Gordon born March 7th, 8:42 am, 9lbs 2oz, 22 inches long.

We love you sweet baby boy🤍 we are sharing this with you all so Landon is introduced to the world and not forgotten. Funeral information on the last two slides if you’d like to join us in celebrating our sweet angel and grieving his loss.

Design is truly my passion, as many of you know. We have been slowly renovating our 100+ year old home for a few years now and have SO many projects and ideas for this house. It is a slow process but as each room gets finished it’s more rewarding than I could imagine. One of my favorite rooms in our home is my daughter’s nursery. Inspired by spring and the giant blush cherry blossom outside her window. I wanted a calm and tranquil space for her to grow and thrive in that can transition with her throughout the years.
Will be sharing more home renovations as time goes on🤍 currently working on two other rooms in our house and each one is blowing my mind on how perfect they are turning out 🤍

I cannot believe it is already February! January flew by and at this rate tomorrow is going to be summer! 2024 is shaping up to be a busy year but in a different way than years past! So proud of the lovely ladies on our team for taking on exactly the amount of wedding clients they wanted too (go team for setting goals and boundaries 🤍). While for me I stepped back ~slightly~ this year from things that I would’ve normally said yes too because I too needed to set some new business boundaries and reset from the last 3 years of craziness. Two of my best friends get married this year and I didn’t want to miss any of their events and some personal family events happening at the beginning of this year it felt right to step back and let my team shine! However, I am so amazingly grateful for the clients I did take on this year because they are truly the best and my type of people🤍
2025 is already shaping up to be fabulous🤍 if you are interested in working with us in 2025 or for a smaller event/party in the fall/winter of 2024 reach out and we can chat🤍

So thrilled to finally share E&S’s stunning blue and sage filled day🤍 I loved working with this creative couple on their welcome party and wedding day in Buffalo, NY. Their vendor team was darling and such a pleasure to work with.
FUN STORY: Emily (the bride) and I went to pick her linens out at and Emily instantly fell in love with a stunning blue and sage printed linen. If you know me you know I LOVE pattern so I was so excited when she picked it out!! We used the linen print all throughout the wedding day and it turned into a beautiful, coordinated masterpiece🤍

The women behind it all🤍 a real life moment celebrating my daughters first birthday this past year🤍 I love how much they all love my baby girl🤍 they stepped in and lifted me up that day as I cried like a baby because my baby was “getting so big”. Now I look at this photo and can’t believe how little she is here!! I was stressed about so much that day but as soon as I stepped back and let these ladies step in and take over I felt at peace. Nothing matters but celebrating my little girl, after coming to terms with that as a crazy “party planner” it was absolutely the best day🤍 forever grateful for these women on my team and for them in my life! This is your reminder that no matter what you are planning there will be stress involved to some degree but don’t let it ruin your day🤍

2024 has a lot of firsts in it which is very exciting and can be slightly nerve racking at times. We absolutely love new adventures and 2024 is proving to be full of them.

Back when we did our first scouting trip in Italy it was the first time I had ever flown internationally. I am surprisingly not a good flyer and don’t love going on planes. However, I would never let that stop me from new opportunities that come my way. In order to grow and become the best version of yourself you have to do things that might scare you. Otherwise you will become frozen and unable to achieve what you are meant to in life. Be bold and never let fear hold you back!

So grateful for the amazing opportunities our team has been blessed with🤍 Thankful for every client and couple that trusts us to bring their projects and events to life!

These two beautiful humans finally actually get married this weekend! After planning their wedding for what feels like years now (oh wait, it has been!!) it’s are finally here and I couldn’t be happier or more excited for them!! It is always an honor when I get to help my loved ones planned their weddings and then stand beside them on their big days!
Besides being my best friends, A&R are truly our ideal clients. We love when our couples align with our missions and beliefs and A&R definitely do! (Our missions and beliefs can be found pinned at the top of our instagram feed)

PS We Love You🤍one of the sweetest es**rt cards displays I have had the pleasure of constructing multiple times now is when our couple takes the time to write each guest a card in place of a generic es**rt card. M originally came to us saying she wanted neutrals for her and T’s wedding day. After discussing her vision more and her seeing some of our designs with color, print and texture this neutral bride drove head first into the realm of color and trusted our design capabilities and well, let’s just say the results were BREATHTAKING!

Mix and Match Bridesmaids dresses are our favorite! When done correctly it can truly add so much to your wedding day! Here are some ways to do mix and match correctly:
-pick a color palette that makes sense. Make sure it matches the other elements of your day! You dont have to stick to one color for the dresses but make sure the colors you do pick are respresented in the wedding elsewhere.
-let your girls pick their dresses…to some extent! When working with us, we will send a dress deck with links of approved dresses by you and have each party member pick their top three favorite styles. We then assign each girl their dress! Easy and stress free!
And the one rule we feel is SO IMPORTANT!!
- bridesmaids dresses DONT HAVE TO BE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES!! In all honesty I don’t ever recommend actual bridesmaid dress lines to clients when they are looking to do mix and match unless they specifically ask. If you are looking to create a fashionable, elevated look for your bridal party look for dresses (or better yet higher us and we’ll look for you and include links!) where you normally shop for event dresses. Think just to name a few that come to mind!!

Elements we try to include in every design:
1) COLOR!! If you want color in your wedding or event we are the planners/designers for you because color is our love language and we do color right! Using color doesn’t mean having a bright rainbow wedding but it does mean your options are endless and the ability to create something truly unique and special for you is there!
2) Upgraded linens. Even if you want to go minimalist with the table settings and centerpieces linens are a fabulous way to add dimension and texture to your event!
3) cohesive paper goods!! A save the date that matches the invitations that matches the day of stationery is crucial! We make sure that all these items are coordinated to perfection!
4) Special little details! Can you spy the lemons on the tables with the centerpieces? Well, did you notice the lemon salt and pepper shakers mixed in? We are always thinking outside the box to wow you and your guests!!
