Last night approximately 70 Ravens fans had a post-game party here at the AHYP Club. And while their team was unsuccessful on the field, the Ravens fans had a great time eating and imbibing here in our club. Attached are a few photos.

Ivy+ CMU Swartz in the City

Hello AHYP Members,

Our friends from Penn, Ivy+, and CMU alumni will be at the AHYP Club in Pittsburgh for the latest Swartz in the City showcase. Come see the latest technologies being developed by CMU Alumni Startup and Spinout companies.

ESTAT Actuation (light, compact, and efficient electroadhesive clutches) and Aquatonomy (autonomous underwater robots that provide precise 3D models of intricate submerged structures) are the featured startups for this event. So, come by and bone-up on your electroadhesive clutch knowledge and impress friends and family at Thanksgiving with your new appreciation of Aquatonomy!

Hello All,

The menu for the club's holiday party on Friday, December 20th is listed below. This year there will be one seating.

4pm: Cocktail hour in lounge

5pm: Dinner service to begin

I will need to know if you're attending by no later than Monday, December 9th. At that time I will need your party's count and payment. The price for the dinner this year is $80 per person plus the club charge of 20%.

Cocktail Hour Appetizers:

Artisan Fruit & Cheese
Chef selected wedges and slices of domestic and
imported, hard and soft cheeses, specialty jams and
varied mustards. Garnished with grapes, seasonal fruits,
and fresh herbs.

Margarita Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail
A magnificent presentation of chilled jumbo shrimp,
arranged with lime wheels on the edge of a tall glass
pedestal bowl, filled with mango pineapple salsa.
Accompanied by mini shrimp cocktail shooters with
traditional cocktail sauce.

Chopped romaine • red grapes • blueberries • vanilla

Attention All You Birds and Dames,

The Pittsburgh Petroleum Club is having its Great Gatsby party at the AHYP Club on Thursday, November 7th. The event will feature table games, appetizers, and a general roaring twenties vibe.

I hope you can attend. It should be a fantastic event and it's good for your soul to see the club packed and being enjoyed by members and non-members alike. Don't be a bluenose. Instead, gooseberry lay your best 1920's outfit and be here on November the 7th!
