Why focus on who is not supporting you? I suggest that you focus on yourself! Your goals for the new year, your business model, your customer service, and making balloon art that makes you proud! This will generate clients, income, and confidence!

We all want to make Elaborate and Grand balloon garlands but if your not charging for these types of garlands then you’re just working to take pretty balloon pictures! Balloon artist charge per foot when it comes to organic designs. So don’t be afraid to scale it back a little or set your price accordingly!

I don’t have much use for these clear hooks so I started added them to my foil balloons. It allows the foil balloons to lay flat on your garlands. Instead of poking out from the sides.

I’ve learned my lesson placing these hooks up on interior walls. I have one on my wall that ain’t never coming down because it rips the paint when trying to remove them.

Do you prefer setting up your balloons by yourself or having a partner/team? If I’m being honest I like setting up by myself the most! Having a team or balloon friends to call on when you need help is definitely a blessing. However, creating something with your own labor and love makes it extra special! How do you feel about doing everything yourself?

I might make it look easy but it has taken many restless nights and countless mistakes to get the confidence I have now with balloons!
I still feel like I’m learning everyday and I’m still waiting on my dream client but I’m very proud of how everything is going!

My favorite way to connect my balloons is using the Neck to Neck method! However, it can be a struggle at times. In order to get that additional stretch to your nozzles, starts with making closely tied balloon duplets. The tighter you make your duplets will determine the extra length of the balloon nozzles to connect your garland.
