Now that I have your attention and I’ve posted twice in 24 hours (which is a record for me in the last year haha) I’m gonna go ahead and post a third time to announce our new offering!! We’ve been getting asked a lot lately about proposals so we figured right before engagement season is the time to launch! Raun+ Steven were the only consult call I’ve cried on in 12 years. The way they described how they wanted their wedding to feel (yes we talk about the feels, not the looks on the initial call) was just so beautiful. They cared more about the people that were going to be there with them, the people that had supported them, encouraged them and loved them throughout the years as much as they cared about themselves. They wanted their wedding to not only be a celebration of the two of them, but a celebration of all of the love, support and encouragement and the people that stood by their sides through it all. 🤍 .steven

I love a cohesive theme. Soft, romantic wildflowers carried from invite down to reception shoes. Also I think this is the first time a bride customized her dancing shoes based on the design board we built, so that’s pretty damn cool if you ask me.

I know it’s traditional for your bridesmaid to have matching colors, but you know what I say to that. F* tradition and let your gals choose something they are comfy in and will wear again. Give them some guidance of course (letting them go completely rogue isn’t advised haha) but giving them that freedom within certain boundaries can turn out pretty magical.

When this month first started I had high hopes of featuring a LGBTQ owned business every day or at least a few times a week. But life is crazy, and while I love Instagram and I love all these people more, I love my mental health the most haha. Instagram tends to turn into a full time job and clients come before social media so it’s been quiet over here. I’m going to try to be better though and finish this month out strong! So without further ado, meet the faces behind ! (Don’t hate me for posting these goofy pics from the preview party lol) We’ve only just started working with Chris and his team and they’ve been incredible to us and to our clients! The attention to detail and love put into every piece is apparent. I mean just look at this beautiful work they did for Nia and Alex’s wedding last month! Chris is the main floral guru but his hubby Aaron supports him and the team behind the scenes and helps out over the weekends. Go show these guys some love and consider them for your wedding flowers!! 💐

Last week, I had the absolute honor to marry my two friends, two of the truest, most genuine people I know and watch them not only marry each other and pledge to love each other for the rest of days, but to blend their families and it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever been a part of or witnessed. Johnny and Lauren, you two are so special and your love is rare. The way you choose each other and your families every moment of every day demonstrates a kind of love that we can all only hope to have one day. You two have always been dated to be together. I love you! ❤️

Not all DIY is worth it but when you can add this color and texture into the design for $6 (thank you ) it’s absolutely worth it!!
