I can only use so many of my creations, so I would always give them as gifts - especially to my mom. She would come home from work and say "So-and-so said they loved my jewelry today, they couldnt believe it when I told them Abby made it for me." As my crafting took off I decided the name Abbymadeitforme was a perfect business name. Over the years I have dabbled in many types of crafts - most rece

ntly (and sticking) is floral design for weddings. I am a budgeting/frugal type and I decided I would do the flowers for my own wedding, July 6, 2013. My husbands cousin was at our wedding and asked me to do the flowers for her wedding - I had enjoyed doing mine, so I said yes. From there a new hobby was born :)

✨A few quotes slipped through the cracks last fall and Im so sorry about that - if you dont know me personally, I do work full and part time outside of being a florist. So as much as each bride has ALL of my focus when Im working with them - I have to really prioritize my energy (and weekends) to make that happen! Well - now that Ive successfully spammed you all for the past 24 hours 😂🥂🙏 making room in the phone for next year!! Even amid a pandemic - with date changes, season/color changes, venue closings, guest list shortening, etc etc - I was so lucky to again somehow manage to have the coolest, most creative, chillest brides 🙌 Congrats to you all, again! 🥂

My date book for peak season 2021 is getting full because I do take on so few weddings with all my other life-goings-on - message me for a quote! (Im admittedly very slow, but usually worth it LOL) Not to get too ahead of myself - but 2021 is shaping up to be a pretty cool one flower-wise as well!

Just to reiterate - I am a hobby-florist... not a photographer 😂 over the next few days I will be updating the albums with venue and picture details - credit where it is due!

My longest travel to date - but to a venue owned & made by the bride and groom - near to Sugarloaf and overlooking the Bigelows. Made - as in they legit made everything - from the spot, to the tables, to HER DRESS! Yes! Seriously, the coolest couple. Also pictured is a bouquet from the sweetest sister, for their beautiful original date that passed due to covid - the postponed date was perfect too 🌸💕🌲🦬

Good morning 2020 Brides 💛 if you are MY 2020 bride and your date has had to, or is considering to, push due to corona virus fallout... please message me ASAP.

I only hold dates with a deposit - so if a deposited bride has rescheduled to a date I may have previously quoted, but that had not been deposited on - the move takes priority.

I also have personal events that have been rescheduled, so some dates I may have had in my calendar are no longer free, and in those cases you've all been contacted 💛 (again though, if youve deposited, you take preference, even to personal event swaps!)

YOU BRIDES ARE AMAZING AND RESILIENT AND IM HERE FOR YOU.

That being said, I do have free dates still. So if you feel like youre scrambling for a florist, because theyre going through the same thing I am, reach out. We are all in a volatile state (brides, florists, growers,etc) and I want to make it known that youre not alone 💛 and if you feel that way there are always people out there to help!!
