In July 2019, the business closed. IlThere were many things that contributed to our closing but the local paper refused to do a story about it and I am now getting orders from regular customers that rely on us to supply graduation chairs and discounted rentals for their annual fundraising events. I have had to tell two schools that they have to find chairs elsewhere and if they can even find them, they may have to pay more because I always discounted all the school events. The months of May and June are the busiest time of year for events between graduations (We used to supply 8-10 schools with chairs) and it coincides with wedding season. Even with our inventory of 3000 chairs, there were times when we had to ask customers to pick up tables snd linens but they had to return the day of their event for the chairs so we could move them from a graduation to the warehouse at 7am. Rental companies often re-rent from each other to cover busy weekends. One year, I had to drive to Chico to get chairs to cover a weekend because they were the closest rental store with availability. My point is that I will not be surprised if some customers don’t get chairs for some of the school graduations and if you need them for a party, you’d better book it now. (Especially weddings) I am extremely disappointed with The Mountain Democrat for refusing to run a story about it and I suspect a reason they didn’t consider it news may be that they didn’t want to expose the people who did contribute to putting me out of business. The result is that the schools and charitable organizations are going to likely spend more or figure out how to work it into their budget or find a vendor that will discount their events because they didn’t know that we closed. (I did send emails to some) but I didn’t have a lot of help in packing the business so a story in the paper would have been very helpful so the community could foresee that they needed to reserve elsewhere.

If your a school or if your kid is going to graduate this year from middle or high school, you may want to let the school know that, if they used Party Royal Rentals for chairs, they need to secure them from somewhere else and should have done it yesterday. I truly apologize for any inconvenience this is causing to my regular customers. I appreciated and enjoyed doing business with my regulars & miss chatting about your event. I recommend Aba Daba and Rent Rite in Sacramento as they have decades of experience in the business of events.

I owed $3,000 in lawyer fees to a landlord that evicted me after 90 days because I refused to remedy his building’s mold problem and leaking roof. He spent over $10,000 to have the Sheriff’s department levy all my business property including my computers. Essentially, abused process to put me out of business. Even though I was told not to take pictures or video, I was able to capture the injustice of officers sitting in my lobby while hired movers packed up my store and left it ransacked. The levy listed specific property to seize but the civil department left it up to the hired movers to decide what to take. I was coooerative and offered to sort the listed items and was threatened with arrest.

While we were moving, the following items were among the things stolen from inside the building. If you know where they are, please contact me. I lost a lot of things that I had to leave because I had nowhere to take them and ran out of time to sell but I had packed boxes the property manager said would be there for me to come back for but they were gone and they didn’t know what happened so I am praying that honest people will return them to me.

My daughter in law passed away a few years ago at the age of 22. She left me with her 3 year old son who is almost 11. There was s box of porcelain dolls and papers that I was saving to someday give my grandson to have something that belonged to his mother. I know he wasn’t going to want dolls but someday he may have a daughter and I wanted him to have it because it was all we had left from his mom. In that box or a box I had next to it, (full of his toys and some clothes) was the DVD from his mom’s celebration of life and it had a photo montage that I think he would want. There was also an envelope of photos of his mom when she was growing up. I’m sure it looked like junk to anyone else but very sentimental to me and my grandson.

My daughter had a set of 8-9 wood lanterns that she let me use in the business. I set them next to the door and was going to get them the next day because they would not fit in my car. They are gone. (see photos)

A dish pack box that had my personal wedding china set I had from when I got married. It was not part of the business inventory. I set it next to the door by the lanterns but it’s gone. They are not like any china we rented. I don’t remember if I had 10 or 12 place settings but it’s white with a scalloped edge . (See photos)

I had boxed up a set of 12-14 polyester faux burlap squares (60” or 72”) that I was going to use in my next business but they were taken. (see pictures)

I had a lot of other things taken that I would have loved to keep but honestly had no more room for a lot of it. I only hope it all went to places where it will be used and enjoyed. I would like to get my more sentimental things back and if they were given away, I’m willing to pay for them to be returned. My heart is broken 💔😭that they were not there when I was told they would be.

I don’t have photos of the porcelain dolls but that is something that anyone would know a box of dolls & I only had one box of dolls.

We have really appreciated those that have been understanding of the highly stressful things that we were going through and reminded us that they wanted to get their bill paid. Unfortunately, we lost a lot of inventory in the move and were not able to fill orders previously taken. If I didn’t get back to you and you placed an order, it was because I had all the orders on my desk and someone helping out, cleaned off my desk and threw a lot of papers out. )

LAST DAYS! Party Royal Rentals is going out of business and all inventory is being sold. we still have wood 8’ banquet tables, some 6’ banquet tables, a few round tables, children’s chairs, glassware, flatware, trays, serving bowls, punch bowls, platters, serving utensils, chafer pans and frames, pitchers, bread baskets, dishes, bbq grills, umbrella stands, rack shelves,linen carts, chair covers, a commercial tankless water heater, stainless sink with sprayer and stainless out feed table, 2 shrink wrap stations, warehouse carts, dollies, ladders, and open sign, cash register, party rental sign & a lot more.

Sale will extend past the scheduled end time of 4pm, until last customer is done. We have to be done with the sale today so i’m happy to stay open as late as 10pm if you let me know what time you’re going to be there. After today, sales will have to be done as we are moving it out and we can’t search for anything specific once we are loading trucks.
