This is one of my favorite photos. It says so many things yet needs no words.
These two kiddos are in my class and have a crazy connection. I want you to meet Lilah and Elhadj. When Lilah coughs, Elhadj will go to her and hug her until she is finished. When Elhadj arrives in the morning and is upset, Lilah will walk over and talk to him until he is better. Elhadj will make Lilah hug him when she is sad. These two are what every adult needs to be. Racism is something that is learned. These two are example number one. I'm so proud to have these two in my life and to teach me as much as I teach them. 💜
