Come out and experience the barn!

The historic Byron Barn will host our 3rd annual Spring Artisan Market, April 13, 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. This spring we have 50 indoor and outdoor local vendors and artisans making handmade goods, including jewelry, candles, woodworking, yarn and crochet crafts, sewn and embroidered items, body care, home decor, stained glass, visual art, and more. Food artisans will showcase baked goods, jams and jellies, chocolates, sauces, liquor, jerky, dog and cat treats, and more. Local food trucks Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ and Los Gordos Rosticeria will be on site to serve guests.

Every wedding has it’s own spirit… it’s own colors, fragrances, tastes, and sounds. As simple as that seems it goes deeper than which caterer or florist you choose. It begins with a spark of imagination that comes from the heart of the couple. It’s an echo of who they are. Whether it’s a traditional fancy do or a casual party, it’s a public expression of two souls inviting their folks to sit with them in a new way.
It’s always an honor to witness this.

Greetings from the barn! Could there be a more perfect June evening? The Byron gardens have started their transformation and I’m already feeling expectant for the new growth. We’ve had some beautiful events here at the barn in the last weeks. Weddings, Flamenco dancing, Bridal Shower…
And I want to say a special thank you to my kids. After attending the Waldorf School of Princeton for two years, where there’s a required gardening class, we get busy around here with grumbling or moaning. And the results are lovely!
Take some time in the next evenings to just enjoy something outside. May e you have a porch, or a terrace, or perhaps a local park or garden. Go sit. Smell the flowers. Even if you’re allergic like me. Breathe deep and let your mind unwind. It’s a good day.
