Throwback 👏🏼🌻if you would have told this bright eyed, over dramatic 18 year old that she’d still be playing with flowers at 26 I bet she wouldn’t have listened!🤣

The first pic was my floriculture project for my last year in 4-H 🍀 Every year until my last year I took a planter with planted flowers. My senior year I wanted to do something different and LOVED it!!

I had no idea I would be where I am playing in flowers all spring, summer and fall!🌷☀️🍂

Doing my besties rehearsal dinner flowers was SO much fun 🥰💗 Growing flowers is so fun but having them be a part of my friends lives is the absolute best! 🤗

Not gonna lie, this was also so stressful, I’d never done anything bridal related so I felt all the nerves the weeks leading up to it!! 🤪

How crazy that these ugly brown potato-looking things become such amazing beauty!! 😍🌸 Dahlias have always been my favorite but they broke my heart and taught me a lot the first year I planted them!

In 2022 I spent $100 on about 2 dozen of these weird tubers, determined to grow beautiful blooms that I could enjoy and share with people I love.

I grew up on a fruit and veggie farm for 25 years so of course I thought I knew everything it took to grow a plant. LOL 😅I planted them when I was supposed to, and it was going good, they started to come up beautifully and evenly.

But then it rained, a lot. Every single tuber rotted in the ground and I didn’t have one single bloom my first year.

I was humbled, frustrated, and determined to master this flower!! I am still learning as I go into my 4th year at growing them. We will see what this year brings! 🤞🏼🌼🌸

Taking full advantage of this snow day to plan out the next several weeks of seed starting to have the prettiest bouquets this summer! 🥰💐 I have to say that the 4th of July bouquets (3rd pic) were one of my favorites of the summer!

Last year I only had 10 spots available for the 4&6 week subscription and this year im upping it to 25 because the fields were so lush last year! 🌸

My Christmas tree is still up, what about it?? 🤣 But hey it made a pretty setting for taking seed inventory! 🌱

To be fair Christmas is like my favorite holiday and we were go so much in December that we never got the chance to really enjoy it!! So a few more day can’t hurt right?? 👀

The seed order is coming together and it has me giddy for summer bouquets 💐😍

This flower surprised me big time this year!! 😍 I was skeptical to grow snapdragons for so many reason but this spring I decided to try it out and it was perfect!!

🌟It’s long vase life was the happiest surprise
💐 Added more variety in texture to bouquets 🤌🏽
🎉 More colors will be coming next season

The flower patch has been tucked in for winter! ❄️ The field was a dream this year! The last 2 pictures are before and after and it is refreshing! 🤗

This summers CSA was outstanding… will be opening up soon just in time for Christmas! 🎉

This week 1600 tulips are arriving and I am NERVOUS to say the least but the magic is on the other side of fear! 🌟🌷
