This chapter is ending 📕It’s been a wonderful 4 years planning and executing weddings and making all of your “big days” perfect. I’ve loved every minute of it! But yesterday was my last wedding as I move onto what’s best for my family. It’s been a pleasure working with and for you all!

Who’s walking you down the aisle on your wedding day? Remember, there are no rules on your big day - it’s whatever you want!
Programs are one of those things that are so helpful for your guests! They want to know who your wedding party is, and it can be a helpful way to answer those questions like “where are you going on your honeymoon?” Use them as a tool to better connect and communicate with your guests on your wedding day

What do you all think of wedding favors?We think they’re a ton of fun, but if you’re looking to trim your budget, start here! Often guests forget their favors and you end up with so many leftover! Your guests don’t expect to take anything home - they’re just happy to come celebrate you!

An excellent way to get more of your family and friends involved in your wedding day is to ask them to do a reading in the ceremony! The reading can be from the Bible, a poem, a passage from a favorite book, or anything that speaks to the couple!

Alternative guestbook idea: rent or buy Polaroid cameras and have your guests take pictures of themselves and stick them in a book with a note for you! These are wildly successful - guests LOVE them!

A lot of couples will exchange gifts the morning of the wedding via the best man and maid of honor or using the help of your wedding planner! It builds anticipation, helps calm nerves, and always puts a smile on the others face! Highly recommend letting your photographer know if you’re exchanging gifts too so they can capture the moment 📸

The most stressful time of your wedding day: that hour right before the ceremony starts. The things that need to occur include- finishing up pre-ceremony photos or making sure everyone is dressed and ready to go- ensuring all decorations are finished
- verifying all vendors are ready to go
- getting the bride hidden away
- welcoming the guests and making sure they all take their seats
- lining up the wedding party for the ceremony
- orchestrating the processional, complete with coordinating with photographer, officiant, and ceremony musicians
- ensuring that big reveal for the bride and making sure her train is perfect
- running off to light candles and check final touches on the reception!
Since no one wants to do that themselves, make sure you get yourself a wedding coordinator!!

Set aside a box with details like invitation suite, rings, ring boxes, jewelry, vow books, ties, cuff links, perfume/cologne, and anything else you want to make sure is photographed! Budget hack: reuse bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces! Just add some votives and a cute vase and they look great! Other ceremony floral can be reused in your reception space as well - just potentially not on tables depending on how they were designed!
