Winnie the Pooh baby shower with a rustic touch 🤌🏼

Every time I have to re-create this theme, I think outside the box! I try to never replicate previous work or other people’s art . I have work hard at building trust and providing design options that fits the clients vision and budget.

We had to change venue to grandmas house. Originally we had an idea but due to unforeseen circumstances, we were able to adjust the original design to fit grandma’s living room. Grandma did an amazing job with those centerpieces, right? Swipe right to see the original sketch! ✍️

COQUETTE | Minimalistic | Floral Disney Princess Decor 🎀

As per usual, as as an event decorator, we always tend to procrastinate our own kids birthday parties (mom guilt loading 💆🏻‍♀️), and this time around I had less than one week to design, coordinate and book everything I needed for that weekend. One of the reasons was because of the weather, we didn’t know if the weather was going to be favorable until the week of the event, being that it was the start of summertime.

At the end, it didn’t rain, but it was very hot and humid. Therefore, I cut the amount of time of the party duration. Would I had the choice of doing it at an indoor venue? of course, there is a sea of indoor venues in SF but the reality was that the ones we thought about didn’t fit our needs. Unfortunately most venues only allow 30 minutes to setup and that is not enough time for a large- scale detailed setup.

And even you would have thought I had enough time to decorate it in the morning? Not all all, we had to drive to get the cake, desserts, food, load and unload the van, a helper, get the entire family ready and with all of that it was extremely challenging to finish the setup on time (matter of fact I didn’t 😅) . We had to discard the amount of balloons we were originally going to use, take away 1 wall, the bow was a big challenge to make it stay in place because we didn’t have the heavy duty stapler it required, we couldn’t fix certain things but made everything possible.

At the end of the day, I was fulfill that she had her birthday party and we can take that memory with us forever.

Bridgerton Inspired Baby Shower ParTEA 🫖✨

Some will say this is a simple setup but it doesn’t necessarily means it is cost-effective. Only those who owns a ripple or texture walls understands the mission they are to be painted by hand. It honestly takes me 2 days to cover it with paint.🫠 but in all honesty, it looks very luxurious in person. Totally worth the hassle!
