The display started long before these two were even a twinkle, but y'all they have taken it on and have come to love the family tradition as much as I do. I could never thank them enough for all of their hard work in putting this on every year. From the days it takes to set it all up, to the multiple days it takes to take it all down and pack it away. Without them nome of it would happen. I hope they always know how much it means to me. ♥️

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas with Family and Friends. The monorail is currently running and will be out until around 11 pm., if you'd like to take the kiddos out for some light viewing to wind down from the long day.

It's Sunday night...and I'm sure you are relaxing before starting the week...or maybe wrapping gifts like me. Whatever the case. We'd love it if you would share your memories of the display! .....and if you come by and take pictures of the kiddos we'd love to see those too! 🎄🎅☃️

Beautiful weather means one thing...the monorail will be running!! Tonight and tomorrow night will be the last two times before Christmas, due to other family commitments. The display will be lit every night.

The display and monorail will be up through the new years holiday...so there will still be plenty opportunities to see it. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

The monorail will not be running tonight due to the wet conditions. The display is lit but our yard and the ditch in front is very wet...so it may be best to view from the street if you pass by tonight. We hope to have the monorail out Sunday and Monday night.

It looks like tomorrow night is going to be a wash out. So if you would like to see the monorail, it is out at this time. It will run until around ten p m weather permitting.

Over the next few day the holidays will be in full swing, and we will have family functions or school events to attend which will keep us away from the display for extended periods. When this happens we can not leave the monorail out on the track running unattended. We will try to update as best we can when it will be out.

The display will however remain lit, and you're welcome to pass by for a visit.

Tonight, tomorrow night, and possibly Thursday the monorail will NOT be running. It should be out Friday night for sure, and we'll update the weekend as the weather situation gets clearer.

We had a blast at our 2023 kickoff Friday night!! We would like to thank all of the families that came out to visit and our Disney friends who helped to make our 2nd kickoff a huge success. If you missed it be sure to follow the page throughout the season. We may be able to talk a few friends to come back, but it will be spur of the moment. 😉

We all had so much fun tonight! It truly was magical to see the excitement on the kids faces. That's what the Christmas is all about. ❤️ We were especially happy to have the original creators of the display join us for the fun.

Tonight is the night! If you are coming see us we ask that you please do not block any of our neighbors driveways and try to keep traffic moving. We will have candy cakes for the kids and will have friends handing them out as you pass by. We can't wait to see you!

It seems like every year when the lights go up...the rains start coming down....and based on the forecast it looks like we will be postponing our "kick off". We will update once we have a new date.

Hey everyone! Be sure to check the page often leading into the weekend. Mother nature might not be nice to us this Saturday night and we may have to move the kick off! We are watching the forecast closely and will make a decision the closer we get to the weekend. As we all know things can change in a blink of an eye in South Louisiana. Fingers crossed!

Between weather and pre-planned out of town visits, we are working on the display when we can. We will continue adding more lights this week but the main set is up and will be lit nightly until 10pm. The monorail hasn't made it to the track yet..so stay tuned for more info on that. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Whew! It's all finally picked up and packed away! Are we the only ones thinking the season flew by? 🤔 It's sad to see it come to an end, but we have so many wonderful memories to treasure. We would like to thank our family and friends that helped us with our first "kick off celebration" and all of the families that came by during the season. For the ones we were able to visit with we enjoyed seeing you and the excitement on the kids faces, as well as the big kids.😉 We also want to thank those that tagged us and shared memories to our page, we loved seeing them all. We are already planning for next year's display and plan on making our 2nd kickoff even better! So till next year....❤️❤️❤️

Santa may have made his deliveries and be back at the North Pole resting, but that doesn't mean the holiday season has ended. We were so happy to have visitors tonight. It was fun seeing the kids and families enjoying the magic and we even got to hand out a few more treat bags. ❤️

Merry Christmas to all of our visitors. The Display will be lit at sundown, but the monorail will not be out until we return from Christmas Eve Services and visits with friends. We anticipate this being around 830. So if you need to ride to little ones round before Santa makes his appearance, be sure to stop by.

Merry Christmas Eve Eve. :) The present we received as I went to turn on this display this evening, is a small mechanical issue with the monorail. Working on it as we speak and hope to have it out running in a while.... will keep everyone updated, but for now the display is lit for your viewing pleasure. .

UPDATE..repairs are complete...come see us...."Baby its cold outside".
