SO WELL DESERVED! ๐๐ผ Jim goes above & beyond for our community & has been serving on our board for 30 years! Congratulations Jim!! We are so thankful for you!
We are so excited to announce this year's Plattsburg Chamber Person of the Year is Jim Patrico. Jim has been a major part of our community for decades. He serves on numerous boards & is active on all he serves. It is well known that Jim is the person you want on your board when you need someone who will get something done (also when you need a great secretary due to his ability to keep meticulous meeting notes). Jim has been instrumental in our local Rotary chapter in which his work has helped to secure tens of thousands of dollars of matching grants that have improved many aspects of our community including our city parks. Jim has also been a founding board member and the longest serving board member of the Community Courtyard. One would be hard pressed to find someone in our community that has not attended an event at the Community Courtyard or benefited from its presence in our town โ and Jim Patrico is a major reason for the continued success of the Courtyard. Jim has also served multiple terms on the Extension Board as well as the Clinton County Initiative. In addition to the organizations he serves within, Jim is always there to help anytime he's needed. He annually helps to decorate the Pocket Park & hang the Christmas Pole Trees downtown, he serves drinks during the Table Fair each year and pulls the Chamber float in the Christmas Parade. He also has a love for our local parks & has served on the Park Board. In his spare time, Jim enjoys daily walks to Perkins Park with his dog Sadie, where he can be seen picking up trash or clearing limbs from its paths, which shows his true love & dedication to the community. Please join us in congratulating Jim. He'll be riding in our annual Lighted Christmas Parade this Friday, Dec. 6th.
