My heart & soul arrived home today to warm up before she heads out for a few FUN days at the Plattsmouth high school this weekend to support a wrestling tourney. 🏆

We are 3 weeks away from the biggest game in football! And while we don’t know who yet will play in that big game (rooting for my lions….. lol!! ) I am confident what the menu should look like.

We are taking pre-orders for our smoked chicken wings. They are not breaded but smoked to perfection and then flashed fried for a crispy outside. You dip them in whatever sauce you want…….

1 year ago we started the remodel of our shop and if you ever saw it when it was the ice cream shop (1st pics) you know how different it looks today. But we kept those fun lights!!! It looks like we’ve always been there and it should have always had walls and barn doors. Lol!! ❤️

But 365 days later I could not be more grateful or blessed with the transformation of this space and all of the memories we’ve gotten to make & share in this space over this past year. They say the best is yet to come and if 2024 was any indication, I am strapped on and ready for this incredible ride!!!

I am proud to be a downtown Main Street business and thank evryone who supports us, stops in to check us out and enjoys our food!!

Just prepping a few trays of grilled lemon herb chicken to go along with roast beef, mashed tators, scalloped tators and honey glazed carrots for a funeral luncheon tomorrow.

It’s safe to say that December was chalk full of fantastic memories, amazing events and of course incredible food!! And I gained an intern and beyond excited to teach her and pass along my passion for cooking and making amazing dishes. (She’s already amazing at 15…. ❤️).

I truly thank each and every one of my clients who allow us to cater your special holiday events and enjoy our food!! We sure loving sharing OUR passion with you!!

Wow!! What a whirlwind weekend with tons of AMAZING food and excellent company. Friday: 2 charcuterie boards picked up for a wonderful friends event A tasting at Venue 1883 consisting of: Sausage/potato kale soup, caprese salad, Tuscan pork medallions, Parmesan Couscous and honey glazed carrots. Saturday: We were invited to a fun food truck event at Runaway Ranch to support the kiddos at the high school. Of course we brought out our usual suspects BBQ Sunday: We fed St Paul’s Church in Papillion a fantastic menu consisting of: steak and chicken rice bowls, cilantro like rice, white queso and chips and all the sides you can even think of topping these with. As I look back at these menu’s, I am extremely proud of what we do and privileged to share it with all of you!!! ♥️💕👇🙌💪😉🙏 David Sommer Jennifer Vance Sommer
