We will have lots of gorgeous fall flowers available. When you make any purchase you can choose a free dahlia. When you spend $30 you get a drink on us from Grove Station's soda shop!

I'll never get over how gorgeous our flowers look in this space!

We only have 2 more markets this season and they will be some of our most beautiful and abundant. If you haven't come to the market yet, now is the time!

Our public market is open from 11:30-1:30 every Wednesday at Grove Station in Pleasant Grove. While you're here grab some lunch and a specialty soda!

It's officially Fall friends! We only have 4 more markets this year and you won't want to miss the incredible flowers coming your way. You'll find fabulous fall flowers like dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, asters, as well as incredible textural elements like celosia, ornamental grasses and decorative grains.

You can purchase 10-stem bunches or build your own bouquet from smaller $5 bunches at our bouquet bar.

Come pick up some amazing flowers and enjoy a specialty soda from Grove Stations soda shop.

Here are a few things you might not know about the Utah Flower Market:

1. We are an agricultural co-operative. That means that our growers own and operate our business and benefit directly from its collective success!

2. Our flowers are all locally grown and seasonal. We are open from mid April - mid October and the flowers we have each week reflect the changing seasons.

3. We sell to wholesale clients and the public! Florists and designers can pre-order flowers on rootedfarmers.com and shop early on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00 am. Everyone is welcome to shop with us from 11:00-1:30!

4. We encourage you to support our growers directly! Many of our farmers also offer subscriptions, workshops, wholesale flowers or sell at farmers markets. If you are looking for more ways to support local flowers connect with our growers! (check out the grower highlight)

One of the things we love about being a collective of growers is learning from each other! Today we visited 3 of our farms and learned so much from , and .

Each farm has different circumstances, weather, specialties, strengths, weaknesses and goals and it's amazing to see each other as collaborators instead of competitors.

We couldn't do what we do at the Utah Flower Market without the amazing efforts of each of our growers!

August is peak season for local flowers! Each week at the market we will have more and more blooms available including dahlias, lisianthus, zinnias, cosmos, celosia, sunflowers and so much more.

It's a season of hard work for our farmers, but also of abundance and it's so rewarding to see all of the beautiful things you create with our flowers.

Each summer the Utah Cut Flower Farms Association puts on this amazing community event and flower farmers from all over the state participate.

We will have a booth at the event and some fun swag and can't wait to see you there! So mark your calendar and come soak up all of the beauty and abundance of local seasonal flowers!

In the language of flowers “zinnia” carries quite a few different meanings: friendship, remembrance and endurance.

We love growing the much sought-after varieties of the Queen lime series, and are looking forward to the new Floret Originals we can bring to market soon. Which zinnia is your favorite to use?

Here is a pro- tip on harvesting zinnias from our growers:

Harvesting zinnias can be a little tricky. To keep them from going limp on you an hour after harvest, be sure to harvest early in the morning and do the “wiggle test.”

What is this wiggle test? The wiggle test consists of gently grasping the zinnia a good halfway down the stem and then gently shake it back and forth. If the neck of the zinnia flops, it’s not ready for harvest. If the neck of the zinnia is stiff, harvest away! Harvesting zinnias before they are ready will just result in limp, dead flowers. So be patient!

Join us this Wednesday, July 3 at 10:00 am for a free floral demonstration with Sydney Johnson from .floral . Sydney will be creating a design focusing on unique fillers using fresh locally grown flowers from our market.

Sydney is an incredible event florist who creates airy, elegant, organic designs that compliment the season and environment. She is also a passionate supporter of local flowers and a truly lovely person.

We can't wait to learn from her!

Exploring the beauty of nature's palette with poppies!

Icelandic poppies dazzle with delicate, fluttery petals in pastel hues, while oriental poppies boast bold, ruffled blooms in rich, vibrant colors.

These stunning blooms come in a variety of colors, making them a favorite choice for florists in Utah. From vibrant reds to delicate pinks and mauves and everything in between, poppies add that extra pop of color and charm to any floral arrangement.

Do you love poppies too? Come see what colors you can find at our flower market!

Pro tip: After cutting the stems at a 45-degree angle, gently singe the ends using a flame (like a candle or a lighter) for a few seconds. This seals the stems and encourages better water absorption, ensuring your poppies stay fresh and vibrant for longer. Just remember to let them cool before placing them in water!

We have some gorgeous line flowers and fillers coming your way this week! These are the flowers that bring height and volume to bouquets and arrangements.

Some of our favorite line flowers that you will find this week are snapdragons, delphinium, foxglove, stock, and larkspur.

Some of our favorite fillers are feverfew, cloud larkspur, orlaya, bells of Ireland, and saponaria.

You will also find peonies, roses, ranunculus and more!

Tulips are so unassuming. They are harvested just as the buds get some color and usually they are quite small. But after they are cut they continue to grow and transform. The buds get larger, the petals open and flare, and the stems get longer. Even after they are fully open the color can change and the petals will flex. Most tulips will last 7-10 days in the vase and will give you something new to appreciate each day! This is an Exotic Emperor tulip that is fully open. Isn't she lovely?
