Step 1. Choose a beautiful background to display the dress 😍 Cool doors, arbors, or lush backgrounds are some of my favorites!

Step 2. Don’t forget the hanger! Adding a customized complimenting hanger will really elevate the shot. 🙌🏼 If you want to get pictures of your bridesmaids dresses with your dress too, make sure all the hangers are the same ✨

31, will be talking about the South Sutter Garden Tour at 9:45 this morning (May 3). The Garden Tour takes place this Saturday (May 6) from 10 am - 4 pm. Tickets available at 2121 Ranch at 10 am. This year’s tour features gardens in the South Sutter area.

Below is a lovely story about our State flower to share with gardening friends to promote the AAUWs garden tour this Saturday in South Sutter County and support STEM scholarships for young women. We’d love to see you!

This is a great story, however, they didn’t mention the part about the state legislators at the time authorizing poppy seeds to be given to railroad companies to be thrown from the caboose.

There’s a massive field of wild poppies behind 2121 Ranch on the old milk run train tracks that went from Marysville to Sacramento. You won’t be able to see them from 2121 Ranch but I promise you a field of poppies on the tour!

Love the diversity of a dessert table!

One of my favorite topics while wedding planning is the DESSERT TABLE 😋 There are so many ways to dress it up (and be resourceful...I'll explain): ☝🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ We reused these gorgeous floral arrangements that were originally on wine barrels at the entrance of the ceremony! Find creative ways you can re-use floral arrangements from the ceremony (or even cocktail hour if guests won't be returning to that space) at the reception. This is something we'll move for you! 😉

✨ Some simple ways to dress up the table are by adding different height/complimenting colored tiers, candles, signage, customized cocktail napkins, specialty linens/runners, or any decor that matches your theme! Think of adding different heights and textures to create visual interest 👏

At 2121 Ranch the bride and her attendants can start getting ready in the beautiful home at 8 am. The groom and his guys get the Tack Room - not the house - but not shabby either. ❤️

This is a question brides ask ALL the time: How much time do I need to get ready before the ceremony? 🧐
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ As a rule of thumb, expect to be ready at least 2 HOURS prior to your ceremony. This gives you time to get those "getting ready" or group photos with your bridesmaids, detail shots of you in your dress, finishing touches on your hair and makeup, etc.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you're planning on getting any first look photos or photos with your entire bridal party, add on an extra 30 mins-1 hour.

Ask your Hair and MUA's what time you should get started (in order to be ready by X time) and to send a schedule. The schedule will include what time each person will be getting ready.
