Being a girl dad is hard. But I think Emilee would agree when I say that Randy has absolutely rocked being the best dad to these girls, all while also being the amazing supporive partner that my sweet friend Emilee needs. If you missed my other post about my friend Emilee, she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few short weeks after having their second beautiful little girl. Guys, they still need our help! I will add their meal train and GoFundMe in the comments. Please consider helping this amazing family fight back against cancer! ♥️

This sweet, beautiful, kind, dark sense of humor, amazing woman needs our help. Just after birthing this sweet babe she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Talk about your life being flipped upside down right after birthing you second sweet babe. You've go this Emilee, we are all rooting for you! You're one bad ass woman, now kick some cancer ass!

Looking back I would have never guessed that my photography journey would change so much. I have appreciated every opportunity I've been given to capture people's lives. Whether that's their wedding, engagement, birth, or moments with their sweet newborn. I appreciate them all. This couple especially! I don't know how I would have gotten through nursing school without them so this session was an absolute honor.

If you ever thought about having a session with your best friend just book it! These two seniors absolutely rocked their best friend senior photos. It was so fun getting to hear all about their plans for after graduation and what they are looking forward to most. Favorite prompt from this session "talk s**t to each other but don't let me hear". Ok now that I feel like life is a bit more normal since the ice storm I thought it was time to post these photos. I LOVE my neighbors! This is one of the families I get to call my neighbors. I appreciate them more than words can express. I feel so fortunate to have such a great place to call home. Do you love your neighborhood as much as I do?

This kid...girl...woman 😭 y'all I just can't. This is my absolutely drop dead gorgeous niece! I can't believe she's a senior this year. Man how times sure flies. I still remember having to put her in front of a fan in the summer when she was little because she absolutely hated the heat 😭😭 I love ya girl and I'm so excited to see where life takes you ♥️

Well hello there! I know it's been a while but I just thought I would share some work from earlier this year. Ya know to let y'all know I'm still here, just busy with homework. Anywho, here are some photos from the closest wedding to me that I have captured yet! I've traveled all over the PNW (and the East coast), but this wedding about 5 miles from me. Loving that small town vibe ☺️

(I know some of you know this but I figured I would make a post about it!)
I was accepted into an Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing program!!! This is one step closer to me becoming a midwife, which is my end goal. Due to this new demand, I have severely limited the number of weddings for 2023/2024. I have loved working with all of my couples on their weddings but my main focus will now be school and birth. Thank you for trusting me to capture your day ♥️ I will likely still host a few mini sessions but again they will be limited so keep an eye out for them.
I thought sharing photos from this sweet family session was the best fit for my post as both of these amazing people are nurses!! Thank you everyone who has had a part in helping me build a fun and successful small business.

Oh....my....gosh! It was soooooo hard to just pick a few photos to share from this sweet maternity session! Just look at the love this couple shares. Fun fact! Their engagement photos were done above the fog just like their maternity photos!!!

Do you know what an en caul birth is?
(also known as a "veiled birth" or a "mermaid birth")
This is when the baby is born in the amniotic sac and is surrounded by amniotic fluid. These births occur when membranes have remained intact during labor. With the pressure of a contracting uterus, the amniotic sac general ruptures and the fluid rushes out before the baby is born. This makes an en caul vaginal birth pretty rare, like 1 in 80k births rare! These babies are said to be destined for greatness and that good luck is bestowed on their parents.
I have had the pleasure to witness not 1 but 2 en caul births!!! All births are an amazing thing to be apart of and an en caul birth just makes them that much more special! The amazing sight of my first en caul birth was the reason I started working in the birth world!
Ps this amazing woman gave birth STANDING!!! Such a freaking rock star!

My Story
Even as a kid I truly enjoyed photography. There's something about capturing a picture that makes you feel it, not just see it. As I grew up I tried new things and took more classes within the world of photography. I have been everything from a landscape photographer to an underwater photographer. But with time I found I really enjoyed taking portraits, especially when I could get people to truly smile. So that's what I've been doing, helping others document memories one shutter click at a time!
