Update: Greenhouse polycarbonate ends will be finished today. Me and my husband work on the greenhouse when we have open time. We have one week before long term cold nights arrive.. We are on the home stretch then the heat and electric can be ran, as long as I get the cover on I will be just fine things will be protected.

I have been super busy this way. We are chugging along with the greenhouse. Takes time for sure. I wanted to share that I do have the ability to send flowers to other states. It’s been a learning experience but I’m happy that I can help send orders for those needing to send flowers outside of Missouri.

We took the kiddos to an apple orchard and I stumbled across this huge zinnia patch! I had to share. I can’t wait to get my hands back in the soil this coming week! I start tilling the secret garden under for the winter and begin planting the fall bulbs that have arrived!

When cold weather approaches and you’re not ready…

Let’s just say I am always prepared for cold weather…. However this year I am not. Everything I have been growing and collecting for the floral side made its way inside last night. Then everything else is covered until I see we are back to warmer night temps.

I pray the greenhouse build speeds up for us but as me and my husband took over the building of it we can only work on it a few times a week… it will get done I have faith 🙏🏽

Exciting time of year! Seeds and bulbs arrive this month! This one is the most exciting seed order. I hope to be able to grow most of these to use in floral arrangements and sell the plants.

Homecoming has been a month long for me. I absolutely love creating corsages. I believe orchids are my favorite to work with. Wedding season is upon me! Sneek peek at one of two I deliver today. This was also a very busy week with deliveries to special people I am beyond grateful for everyone who placed orders with me.

Good Morning! Happy Monday!!

Busy day today, squeezing in my Dahlia mini course and a delivery in between helping my mom out today. Kiddos don’t school Mondays so they have been amazing we found a great play spot in a very large parking lot for them to stretch their legs while I learn.

Greenhouse build

Day 2 framing was completely done. My job this week for the greenhouse end braces on 4 corners and anchoring at each ground post and the floral side this week is just as busy. 💪🏼💪🏼 I will get it. One day at a time!

Greenhouse Build

We struggled today Day 1. But we finally got the ground post in and framing got easier. Day 2 tomorrow. Let’s hope we get a lot more done tomorrow. Cold weather is approaching… pretty neat to see it going up! As I look at this in my head I’m thinking I’m already out of space 😂😂 gonna need another one pretty soon!

Homecoming corsage and boutonnières I created in the past few weeks. I hope everyone I made them for had a wonderful time at the dance! Thank you for allowing me to make these for you.

The stand remains open full of plants for a few more weeks it will get restocked in the morning. Long range looks just fine for now. Greenhouse building begins next weekend!!!

Good morning!!! Hope to see you here to celebrate my 2nd Anniversary Taco Lunch. This is my 5th plant sale. We have just had sprinkles this morning. Tents are up, plants are out! You’re welcome to visit anytime until 5pm. Tacos are being served 10-4 only. Plant prices are 10$ & under, I take all forms of payment also cashapp and Venmo. There are lots more plants available that aren’t pictured that will be at the plant sale this Saturday the 21st. I welcome visitors as early as 7am. TACOS will be served 10-4 and are free. Rain or shine I will have umbrella for shopping as plants will be in the rain, we will have a sitting area under tents and games out for the kiddos. Drinks will be served. There’s a lot going on here at Paula’s Petals. I’ve been super busy which I’m beyond grateful for. Thank you to everyone who has given my name out for events, flowers and also to everyone who has visited the stand. We were able to get the first load of gravel for the greenhouse area and the gravel for the base of the greenhouse. It’s all coming together and I’m still shocked we are actually doing this and also so very excited for the journey. Please don’t forget about the Anniversary event this Saturday! It is a rain or shine event we will have tents put up so bring along your rain boots and umbrellas if there’s rain. We will serve tacos for free 10-4. Plants are being priced today so I’m ready. You’re welcome to join earlier in the morning if you want plants I’ll be setting things up about 7am. You will also be able to drive along the new road to see the progress we are at for the greenhouse .

I know it’s common for a business to order in things and it be a natural thing or feeling. But for me it’s soo exciting being able to order things and get fun supply for all occasions. My pumpkin vases came in yesterday. I have two sizes and colors. I cannot wait to do a floral arrangement in one.
