The morning after...
Keep on dancing through to daylight
Greet the morning air with song
No one's noticed but the band's all packed and gone
Was it ever here at all?
But they kept on dancing...
Thank you, Pleasantville! To each and every volunteer, staff member, organizer, patron, vendor, artist...it is you who brings the joy to our festival! Thank you, for a real good time 💜

At 8:15pm our headliner, Better Than Ezra, takes the Main Stage to close out the 2024 Pleasantville Music Festival! The best songs, records, and bands transport you back to the first moment you heard them each and every time they play. Whether you caught a house party gig after Better Than Ezra formed in 1988 at Louisiana State University, heard Good on the radio once it hit #1 in 1995, became a fan following Taylor Swift’s famous cover of Breathless in 2010, or saw them headlining sheds in 2018, you most likely never forgot that initial introduction to the New Orleans quartet founded by Kevin Griffin and Tom Drummond. Those hummable melodies, unshakable guitar riffs, and confessional lyrics quietly cemented the group as an enduring force in rock music; a force that continues to thrive through their most recent album, Super Magick, released in May 2024. We're thrilled to have them bring their classic sound to the festival as our Main Stage headliners!

At 5:40pm, Widely Grown hits the Pamnation Party Stage! The New Jersey-based band plays a dynamic mix of Americana and Country. Led by James Calleo, who hails from Ramsey in Bergen County, this upbeat 5-piece outfit weaves together their sets from the fibers of delicate folk to energetic, high-octane, country-bluegrass-rock n' roll. In writing the songs, Calleo pulls from his past experiences, whether it be driving cross country, hitch-hiking the California coast; backpacking and sleeping out under the stars; spending 5 months in India, or just missing family and friends while out on the road. Each member of the band brings their own unique background and influence into the music. Widely Grown will be touring to support new music releases throughout 2024 including a stop at our Pamnation Party Stage!

Happy Monday, Pleasantville Music Festival friends! Saturday is nearing and we hope you are ready for the big day. Today we bring you a few more songs that we hope to hear on the Chill Tent Stage. We start with Jesse Terry. Born and raised in Wilton in Fairfield County, CT, Jesse Terry has been bringing his classic singer-songwriter sound to stages for over a decade. During that time, he has recorded seven full-length albums, most recently When We Wander, his first album recorded since becoming a parent. Taking inspiration from artists like Jason Isbell and Neil Young, he opted to record the album live in the studio. In his live performances, Jesse Terry brings not just his songs but also a story of resilience, love, and artistic freedom. Fans can look forward to a deeply personal and enriching live music experience that highlights the evolution of a truly dedicated artist when he joins us on the Chill Tent Stage at 5:40pm.
