So 1st year BBQ competing in any comp as a 16 year old (17 now) Pitmaster in the KCBS Masters Pro Series Team Of Year points race . In the teams with less that 5 competitions category (we competed in 3) we place 308 place out of 1272 teams from around the world . We got a lot of people to thank. Inclusive BBQ Events Kathy and Tom for introducing us to Competition BBQ . Hog Wash BBQ Bill Deking for staying late last November at this very location to talk to a new team and fan the competitive flame. Smokin' Hoggz BBQ Bill , Shaune , and Al for putting on amazing tell all class and taking an interest in a young Pitmaster . Humphrey's Smokers Chad and Nicole for being the best company in BBQ having a smoker ready for delivery in 2 days when the smoker we ordered from another company was delayed 4 for what seemed like forever. And the many teams that offered encouraging words , advice , and countless items when we forgot stuff .

Happy Hump Day . Did you know Big Nicky Disco competes in the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) Pro BBQ Circuit . KCBS Bullsheet Magazine did an interview of the 16 year old pitmaster back in June for “The future Of The Flame” column(he’s now 17) . In 2023 Nick competed in 4 events with the highlight being a 9th place Brisket finish with a field of 50 world Class Pitmasters from around the country At the Hogz 4 Heroes Event in Jamestown, RI . He also got his licencse the same weekend and drove to the event . Here’s a link to the interview

Nick Discobrisket . Had a great cook on the new Custom Painted Humphrey's Single Wide and The Pint burning B&B Charcoal and Humphreys Wood Chunks. Total cook was 5 Brisket , 5 Pork Butts , 12 Racks of ribs and 30 lbs on Chicken wings and breasts . The Humphreys Smokers held their temp despite the weather and everyone loved the food . Wow . No words just picked up the trailer from Humphrey's Smokers . They are so amazing so much attention to detail , made sure everything they did I liked , and finished it ahead of schedule. Nick Discobrisket is gonna have some fun with this for the 2024 Competition season . Seasoned it on the way home and here we go first cook with new Flame Boss 500 WI-FI with the Humphreys Rigid Mount. A few racks of ribs with a healthy coating of Smokin' Hoggz BBQ Rib Rub & Humphreys Sap Sucker .
