July 4th in Plymouth, MA!

Each year Plymouth hosts an unforgettable Independence Day celebration drawing visitors from far and wide to America’s Hometown.

Friday, July 4th Schedule of Events
7:30am Annual 5K
What: 10th Annual 4th of July 5K! Check Here for Information and Registration.

Where: Start/Finish on Water Street in front of Brewster Gardens.


9am Parade
What: The theme of the 2025 Parade is Let Freedom Ring! Food trucks will be on the waterfront from the time that the parade begins until the conclusion of the fireworks. Novelty items as well as popcorn and cotton candy will be available throughout the day and evening from roaming vendors.

Where: From Cordage Park, 10 Cordage Park Circle. Park no later than 8am before the roads are closed.


7:30pm Concert
What: A free seaside concert by the beloved Plymouth “Phil” Philharmonic orchestra. Performance highlights include Tchaikovsky’s stirring 1812 Overture, a medley of Billy Joel hits titled Movin’ Out, musical selections from Wicked and, as a nod to its 50th anniversary, the main theme to the film Jaws. The program also features a musical tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces and reading excerpts from the Declaration of Independence accompanied by a lush symphonic score.

Where: DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park. Arrive at least 1 hour before the concert begins in order to find a parking spot and walk to the state park.


9:15pm Fireworks
What: At dusk, enjoy the fireworks!

Where: DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park. There are several viewing spots available throughout town in addition to DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park including Burial Hill and Nelson Park.
