This year we're having to make some changes and not all teams will go to Center Street, so we're letting people buy squares for the golf pass board, here on Facebook.

• We have 100 squares at $10/square. If you'd like to buy a square, please reply to this message letting us know how many squares you would like to buy.
• Venmo the money to -civitan with a comment of Golf pass or square
• If you don't have Venmo, you'll need to get the money to us prior to us putting your name on the board
• Once all 100 squares are sold and paid for, we'll randomly draw names and enter them on the board from left to right, starting in the top left corner.
• Then we'll draw the numbers for the top and side
• Lastly, we'll draw the cards to see who wins

You MUST reply to this original Facebook string, so we are able to see it and keep track of the comments.

FYI - We'll take a picture of the board with the names on it, take another pic with the names and numbers, and we'll video the card draw for the winner.

I have worked with Kelly Martinez for 20+ years. This year’s Stone Soup is Monday, October 25, 2021 at the ISU Student Ballroom doors will open at 5:00 pm until 7:00. Ticket prices are Single Pass -$6.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door; Family Pass-$25.00 advanced ticket (up to 6) or $27.00 at the door ticket (up to 6). Advanced tickets available at the Pocatello/Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce office at 324 S Main St, and Century, Highland, and Pocatello Junior Civitan Club Members will be selling tickets for this year’s event. Junior Civitan Clubs will also be holding a raffle during the soup contest. Still looking for Soup Contenders!!

Well, wasn't that 2 week SUMMER just DELIGHTFUL? 😂

We do have a frost warning for tonight,
Thursday Night and Friday Morning.

Here are some tips:

⭐Water the soil to a depth of about 6 inches during the daytime hours when there is a frost alert for the evening. Wet soil holds more heat than dry soil to help protect the plants. Avoid wetting the plants, if possible.

⭐Place a cold frame or hoop house over a vegetable garden to protect plants until the risk of frost is gone. Open the cover on these protective structures to allow sunlight and air around the plants when there is no risk of frost. Close the cover when there is a risk of frost. Remove the entire structure once weather predictions are free of frost warnings.

⭐Cover garden plants with bedsheets or light blankets for the overnight hours if there is a frost alert and you are not using a cold frame. Place stakes around the plants to prop the covering over the seedlings and prevent crushing. Remove the covering the following morning once the sun is up and the temperature is above 40 degrees F.

⭐Prune any frost-damaged plants once there is no longer a risk of a late spring frost. Pruning stimulates new growth that is susceptible to cold and frost damage.
