Hi all! I've been told that I've received my first negative review; on the public side, of my page; that I don't have access too.
This is the actual initial reach out that I personally responded too. This AM.
Here is some back ground.
Yesterday I showed up to do a REALLY important job for a really, important friend. This mom has had nothing but heart ache and loss and asked me to do something I've never done before, for a group of young girls, I've never met.
This "Job" or Ballon arch I made was beautiful. I took a commissioned job, out of town. The 2 main beams were the hard stable support. the top that wouldn't stay up was just string.
I have my own life struggles currently.
* I did have a mental Break down, I did get FMLA approved, and I do have a great secure job that is VERY, hard and demanding!
*I had a baby 2 years ago and I am still suffering body image issues and insecurities everyday.
I did originally tell the Mom that Hired me. ( NOT the coach or the school district) that if the supplies were paid for I'd do the labor for free.
I do plan to invoice Bonneville HS. Because there is OR should be budget for things like this. There is where I live.
Do when I did meet The Male Dance coach, I though WOW! look at this guy stepping up and doing what's right for the girls/ kids.
I was cleaning up as the show case was winding down.
I did Hear the words " This concludes the show!"
AND THEN
I did, ask for a plug.
What I did miss was the quiet part, where the emotional and overwhelmed girls were asking to day thanks.
I was NOT supposed to stay for the entire show.
Infact, I missed my own kids choir concert to be there and do what I did for The Honey Bee's Dance Team.
The unknown ideas and extra balloons that were thrown into the arch plan, that, I flowed with and allowed to happen, made it in.
This is February in ID. All the spring sports were practicing in the space, I was supposed to build this arch for.
Like a stage prop the main pole's were constructed and the top was carefully placed with no support.
Had I known the girls entered and exited the stage where the arch was, I would have suggested a different set up.
EVERYONE WAS ON EDGE.
This was a BIG NIGHT for the Team. I worked my Behind off for them, with what was thrown at me.
I did pay my dues and give discounts, but here's the deal......
I, the Help, the crazy balloon lady, put more work into something for some young women that I have Never met for a Family that is suffering!
I am the sole owner and worker of Pop Creations.
I did have help from the Mom that Hired me, a brother of a dancer, and another Dance Mom. Together we created something no perfect but pretty good for these hard working girls!
