UNFORTUNATELY Point Richmond Jazz - which was. to our knowledge, the ONLY concert series devoted to bowed string instruments in jazz - has ceased operations due to the current pandemic, and series founder, Kit Eakle’s decision to move permanently to Vancouver, BC, CANADA.

HOWEVER - we ARE maintaining our website PRJAZZ.ORG as a place to find online jazz violin streaming concerts, information on jazz violin and jazz violin history and more - Check out http://prjazz.org!

After a month or two of tryong to keep up with all the live streaming jazz violin concerts out there, I basically threw up my hands. I've decided to instead feature one jazz violin stream a week, and to list the websites of the important jazz violinists who, IMHO, you ought to check in on, on a link...
